OK
These pants are OK. I am not sure what I expected, but they do the job just fine. They do not "refresh" my legs, but maybe I just do not notice after 3 hours? A word to anyone larger out there - I ordered the size listed on their chart given my height and weight. The pants arrived looking like they would fit a 2 yr old but, having read other reviews, I got them on (no easy feat). Given that they are very snug everywhere except the waist, I find they chafe badly at the waist. I have tried tightening the draw string (which is ridiculously long) but it doesnt help. As a result, I now only wear these for runs of 30-45 minutes, anything longer and I wear the $15 pair I got from TJMAXX.

Had to return
Product is great. I have several other pairs of CWX tights and won't consider a long run without them. I just ordered the wrong size. Great company, traded me out right away.

Great fit, expensive
These stay in place when you're running long distances, and definitely compress your legs as promised.Missed 5 stars because of the following:1. Waistline drawstring is much too long and therefore has to be "tucked" somewhere else (I usually have to wrap mine around to my back!)2. I've run several "longer" races in these (>10 miles), I don't know that they helped with soreness that much. Definitely wouldn't have paid so much money if I knew that beforehand.

More snug than should be
I have many pairs of CW-X tights but these fit VERY TIGHT. I will never buy another Pro tights just for this reason. Odd as it is, some pairs of the same size are not good for the same size as other CW-X tights/items. On the graph on the package (the same thing nylon companies put on their products) sometimes the height/weight for one pair is not made for a person that fits in the same size of another CW-X tights.

Great
Funny, I just wrote another review about how I can't fit into most XS because on average they are too big for me. Trying on this CW-X XS was scary at first - seemed ultra small/tight. But once I got it on the right way (at first I tried to throw them on like regular tights - but have to work knee fit first) they felt so supportive, great & comfy, I didn't want to take them off after my run. The compression makes early morning runs easier & also keep me warmer. They may seem pricy, but considering that my other technical gear is just as expensive, if not more, the cost is not bad, especially for what they do. These are my first CW-X running tights, I will try full length next.

Magic pants
The difference these running thights have made for me is night and day. I used to have horrible thigh discomfort after jogging only a few minutes and was hopefull that the compression would alleviate this. Whoa, what a difference. The first time I wore them, I ran 8 miles with no problems. My legs don't ache at all. I'm 5'4'', 110 pounds with muscular legs and the XS fits well. There is no way I could ever run without them on again. I can't attest to the durability as I've only had them a few weeks. Thank you CW-X for making jogging a non-tortorous experience.

fabric quality issues
these are great tights/pants, but they fabric does not hold up to wear. i bought two pairs; one developed a hole in first wearing, the other developed several holes after wearing fewer than 10 times. i don't dry them; i treat them well; they fit great. it's too bad, too, because they are quite spendy. if the fabric stood up better, they would be well worth it. i will be looking into getting a refund, but i don't hold up too much hope since they are worn.

great support when I ski
I own several different CW-X products and love the fact that they come in 3/4 length. typically use them as an under layer for skiing. This is the first time I have tried this model and definitely felt the support to my quads the minute I put them on. I have had them on twice and overall I would say they help support my legs well skiing out here on the hard pack snow in the East. Would be nice if the company came out with an XL option for us athletic fits.

good running tights
I felt that these tights were a tad too expensive compared to other compression tights but succumbed to it and bought a pair this week. The level of support is much higher compared to Skins and Under Armour and feel that the price is totally justifiable. The description is totally accurate and I have felt a good amount of support in the lower back, whilst running uphill without feeling restricted. I just wish there was a zipped pocket instead of the non-zipped one on the side of the tight. A small oversight that will not stop me from buying CW-X in the future.
