Nice heavy cotton Terry cloth. Soft and absorbent.

This robe reminds me of a high end hotel robe. It's cozy, warm and falls to mid calf. I would buy it again in a second.

Not quite as soft as i was expecting but it is not fleece. Girlfriend loves it.

This robe is so thick it is heavy, I love it! It is absorbent and warm. Would recommend to anyone looking for a sturdy, thick, soft, terrycloth robe.

I decided I needed a new robe because my current one is a few years old and isn't the best quality, it's 100 percent polyester. I buy tons of stuff on Amazon, and I found this robe and another by Towel Selections with really good reviews. I got a lot of money for Christmas, so I decided to splurge on this one because I love the color rain and there was only one more in stock in my size. I got it in the mail yesterday and was shocked it was the same material as a towel would be. Not necessarily a bad thing; it just shocked me because this is my first terry cloth robe.I'm 5'6", about 145 pounds (I have the pear shape, smaller B cup and size 9 in bottoms) and the small/medium fits perfectly. Definitely glad I didn't order a size up. I used it for the first time after my shower this morning (I always mostly dry off with a towel before putting my robe on) and was happy with how soft it is on, and it eally wicks away a lot of moisture without feeling wet and cold on the inside, unlike my old cheapy robe. I wore it around the house for about thirty minutes and I love how warm it kept me, but Still is very breathable and I didn't get too warm at all, unlike my old robe. I am very impressed with the quality of this robe and I love it!! The only reason I give it four stars is because I have a pet parrot, and it is normal routine for him to snuggle with me inside my robe or either on my shoulder while I wear it. If you are familiar with conure parrots, then you know they love to chew. Unfortunately my new robe is a type of material that if he tries to chew on it, he is able to pull threads out. So I will just have to use my old one when I have my parrot on me, which limits how much I can wear my new awesome robe.Overall, I am very very satisfied with my new robe!! :) Definitely recommend if you're looking for a high quality robe. The color rain is awesome. Just be careful if you have a pet bird.

UPDATE 8/21/2013: I've now washed this 4-5 times and it has shrunk considerably. I'm 6'2" and bought the Large/X-Large size. It used to go down well below my knees, but now it just barely goes below my knees and it has tightened up significantly in the shoulders and around my body. So I'm taking it down to 3 stars from my original 4 - due to excessive shrinkage. Still happy with it - but not as happy as I was.------------------------------------------------------I waffled on purchasing this based on the 1-star reviewers consistently saying things like, "coarse and cheap, literally falling apart and shedding horribly."Well, I'm glad I purchased it because that hasn't been my experience. It's definitely not coarse. And it wasn't literally falling apart or shedding horribly. Thankfully! (Not saying it wasn't for the 1-star reviewers, but the one I got wasn't). I would recommend however, washing it by itself the first couple of times you wash it because it will put off a ton of fibers in the dryer. But after one or two washes by itself, it was fine.While it doesn't feel cheap, it does feel a tiny bit cheaper than the last bathrobe I had. It's less heavy. But that one was actually too heavy. It was so heavy that it was too hot to wear in the summer. This one is a little thinner than that and it's not too hot at all in the summer. It's just about right. I just have to get my old one out of my mind and stop comparing them! When I compare them I think because this one is a little lighter that it feels a little cheaper. But all in all it's very good quality.ABSORBENCY: This is the best part. I love to put on a robe when getting out of the shower and dry off just by wearing it - without having to spend 3 minutes every morning rubbing myself down with a towel just to dry off! And this robe is perfect in that department. When I finish a shower, I wring out the wash cloth and and spend 5 seconds wiping off the bottom part of my legs (the part the robe doesn't cover), then I put the robe on, get out and take a towel to dry off my face and head - and everything's perfect! This robe really dries you off just by wearing it. Really awesome! Big time saver. 10-15 seconds spent on drying myself after a shower... PERFECT!SIZE: I'm 6'2" and got the Large/X-Large robe (which was the largest they had) and the length is fine. It's exactly what you see in the picture of the man wearing this robe. It goes down about halfway between the knees and the foot. The only thing is - the pockets are a little tight and somewhat difficult to get my hands into. I can get 4 fingers in fine, but if I try to put my whole hand in - it's pretty tight.All in all - I'm glad I bought it. The absorbency makes up for the pocket size.

This robe is great! I'm 5' 2", 140 lbs, 40" chest. Got Medium/Large knowing it would be a bit too big, fits exactly as expected. Slightly over-sized without drowning in fabric. Bottom hits right between the ankle and calf. Think I'd like it even more if the sleeves were a touch longer (kinda like it when my hands are totally covered), but they do match the measurements shown in the size chart. Hits halfway down my hand as expected. Really liking the feel of the this terry cloth. Has good weight without being overly heavy, just the right amount of substantial thickness. It's not the softest robe I've ever had but that's exactly what I was looking for. Don't especially care for the feel of silky soft fabrics directly against wet skin. Cloth is plush to the touch with a very slight 'grip' to the texture. By no means is it coarse or scratchy though, feels good against my skin like it's not going anywhere. Had a few loose threads here or there inside the cuffs/collar, but c'mon, it's actual looped terry cloth. Snags are bound to happen eventually. Washed great, dried on low heat until barely damp and removed promptly to hang dry on a hook in the bathroom. Didn't seem to shrink at all. Stitching is neat/tidy color was accurate (teal green). Very happy with my purchase.

Lovely and comfortable robe. Soft and plush and warm. The colors are brighter than I expected though, and it snags very easily. Watch out if you have cats.

Not as soft as I was expecting but overall it is a nice robe. I ordered an XL and it was a perfect fit.

If you have been on a cruise or stayed in a luxury hotel where quality bathrobes were provided this is what this product is. It was a present for my wife and she is very happy with it. I recommend this bathrobe.
