I took the advice of another reviewer and used a paintbrush and all went on well. The brush also washed out well - rather too well so hoping the end result doesn't run in the rain.As I wanted a two-tone effect, the two bottles I bought have been enough for just under the knee fake Uggs. Anyone wanting to totally cover the original colour should buy 4 to be on the safe side.

Great colour gives excellent coverage but I could have done with a bigger pot - I’ve just re-ordered and made sure I bought 2 pots of this dye. I used the colour on two different coloured items and it was equally good over red and khaki green. Easy to apply and not messy.

Hugely disappointing, ruined my boots. Thought it would be dark grey, more like dark silver so a pale grey. Totally flattened the nap. My lovely miscoloured boots are now a worse colour with a plastic finish

Bought to ‘revive’ a pair of grey suede sneakers which had become a yellowy grey colour. One treatment has transformed them and I can continue to enjoy wearing them again.

I found difficulty finding this product until I used Amazon. The dye was excellent and easy to apply with paintbrush on canvas shoes using 50% water to dye. Two applications allowing the first coat to dry produced an even dark grey colour which is just what I wanted. A great product and delivered on time .Thank you TRG and Amazon. enough dye for at least two pairs of shoes.

The dark grey dye did the trick-was easy to use & the perfect colour. I now have a new pair of sandals!

Completely useless. I spent a very long time removing the polish and preparing my mid-calf black boots for this dye. I then used two coats with 24-hour drying period in between. Came home after wearing them the first time to find the grey dye had peeled and flaked badly wherever the leather creased. In fact I could peel large piece of it off easily. Now I have to try and take off ALL the grey stuff to even get back what were a nice pair of boots! I am going back to Dylon shoe dye, which never gave me this problem.
