I bought this for my daughter, as she is about to go into preschool and I have been trying to find a way for us to start learning at home. I stumbled across this and decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I found it! The pages are very thick and sturdy and wipe off fairly easily (not quite as easily as some other wipe off books I bought though). But the thickness of the pages make it easier for her to use on the go. I just assumed that the pen cap would be left off at some point, as with any other marker in our house, or it would run out of ink, and bought a separate pack of dry erase markers that also work just fine on this book! This has helped my daughter improve her writing! We also bring it with if we go out to eat to help keep her busy. She loves this book and I love that it can be reused!

I purchased this to help my 3 year old little guy learn how to write. We use this on a weekly basis and he loves the book and it has helped him tremendously. He is now able to write some letters on his own and gets so excited when he does it on his own. I love that it can be wiped clean and reused over and over again and also has a spot to clip the marker back in it's place so it doesn't get lost. Very happy with this purchase!

This was an amazing book to find unexpectedly! My son is almost 2.5 and recently obsessed with the alphabet and tracing his letters in books, magnets and everywhere! He also loves books and coloring. So this looked like the perfect fit, and it IS! He loves it! I also tried off brand dry erase markers in other colors ( from my local big lots ) & those worked great, too! As for the reviews who said the marker doesn't come off.. must be leaving it in the book for more than a day. Don't let it dry that long! Use a baby wet wipe if needed and you should be fine. Amazing book! I will definitely buy another one soon (as future replacement or just to have a 2nd one to take everywhere)!

Wipe Clean: Letters ( Wipe Clean Learning Books ) is a good book to teach kids the alphabet from. They do it over and over and love it. It's dry erase and easy to erase from. The marker provided works and erases well, unlike many of the markers that come with these things. Kids enjoy learning with this book. They trace the alphabet tons of times, even if they don't really know what they're tracing. When they learn to form words, they enjoy tracing the words and then copying them and writing by themselves. It's a great learning opportunity. I'd say that this book is good for ages 5 to 8, depending on your child's level. I recommend this book.

I bought this for my two and a half year old to practice tracing letters. His older brother was in preschool last year, already writing letters and words, and the little brother was pretty jealous. However, he has trouble holding a pencil well. The soft, dry erase marker that comes with this book is perfect - he can cautiously, gently try to trace... or he can push hard and won't tear the paper, because it's not paper (it's thick, glossy cardboard). The book is filled with big, bright photos and lots of space to practice writing letters. Definitely recommend!

My son received this for his 3rd birthday and he loves it! He has learned to write many letters on his own, because of this book. He still traces some of them, but I am pretty sure this is the book that helped him to recognize all of his letters. As we went through it once a week, I helped him learned the sound each of the letters make. Now he knows how to recognize, say, write, and sound out each letter. At three and a half he is already learning to sound out words and read. This book is one of the tools we use. We have been using it for 7 months now and the marker has still not dried out - but you have to make sure the cap clicks - which an adult really needs to do, because it's a little tough to get closed all the way. I purchased it when it was more expensive than it is now, and I thought it was a good deal then - it's a true bargain right now!

My toddler loves this. She is learning her ABCs and this helps tons. she loves that she can write on it and wipe it clean. The book is very sturdy and durable and held up quite well despite the beating my toddler has given it. Also she lost the cap to the marker and it still worked long after. I eventually threw it out as the fibers on the marker got all messed up. I will likely purchase similar books since she like it so much.

my daughter loves this! she loves to write and erase, write and erase. it's great for the car, as long as she doesn't drop the uncapped marker. it's great for restaurants and waiting rooms too. it's big enough for her to be able to use well but still small enough that I don't mind having it in my purse. the marker didn't last long, it started to write really thin pretty early on but we had other dry erase markers at home.

Refund doesn’t help bad quality. Book was absolute rubbish. Looked like a dog ate it. Had permanent marker throughout. Didn’t even include magic marker. I couldn’t use it at all.

Perfect for kids learning to write. My daughter gets better at tracing every day with this book! Love that we can wipe it clean and use it over and over.
