Best earbuds I've owned - and I've owned many
I have owned numerous pairs of earbufs and these are simply the best I've ever had. Overall. While these feel slightly big in the hand, they fit perfectly in the ear without bulk. They stay put. They feel secure, unlike my experience with the top of the line Sony. They can sit there for hours without hurting. Next is the wide sound stage, fantastic clarity, superb base response, EQ software for customization, and also excellent noise reduction. I ride daily in mass transit and these are toward the top, with any differences being negligible at the very top level. Use for telephone calls is also excellent. These definitely have punched to the music and a clean clarity that defines and distinguishes itself is a very top end pair of earbuds. The 80 series is absolutely spectacular, but the difference between this and the 60 is so minimal, that it's difficult for me not to buy these and be happy with them. In addition, they are slightly smaller and present the perfect size, comfort and sound quality. Some may feel the case is slightly big but it's really not that much larger than others, perhaps a half an inch? They just look bulkier. But they also feel and look high quality. I haven't had a problem with battery life and find the buds last at least 3 to 4 hours with noise reduction and ldac enabled, which is excellent. The case holds many hours of charging and I haven't had any problems ever with being out of batteries. I have a very discriminating ear. It's both a blessing and a plague. I've been extremely happy with these. One pair needed to be returned for a issue with the left ear. That was never an issue with the other pairs that I bought in different colors. They're gorgeous, high quality, and most important, they perform extremely well for the purposes intended. Enjoy!

A true gem
Music is extremely personal. Sound is something that hugely impacts emotions. I recently came to know of the Technics brand and the fact that it’s owned by Panasonic - a company so near and dear to my heart that I still hunt for its products whenever exploring something new. Trimmers, appliances, batteries. what not. So with the AZ60M2s, I had some idea of what to expect - good sound. But a great product is not just the main feature. It should be a complete package. So I was more concerned about reliability, battery life, build quality, look and feel, packaging, and most importantly connectivity and the app usability. Having experienced the earbuds myself now, I am ecstatic to share that this is a complete package. Reliability - There are no hiccups/unexpected stoppages/delays whatsoever when you play music. Mic works well. Touch controls - No lag. No misses. solid beeps let you know what you did. Packaging - It is packaged really well - no fighting with the box or anything to wrestle it out. Battery Life - I see it holds enough charge for hours on end and also charges rapidly. Wireless charging is a welcome bonus. Instead of putting on the table to rest, I can just put it on the pad and have it ready each time. Build - The build quality is pleasing. It feels extremely nice in your hand. There is no fumbling with the buds while putting them back in case. App - The App is very frustration-free. It is simple, clean and has the most necessary stuff up front - Battery life, ANC, EQ and Find. EQ - The equalizer has multiple presets - Flat, Bass+, Super Bass, Vocals, Trebles, Dynamic and Custom. And I found each was different enough and tuned well enough to be usable - and not just there for the sake of it. Fit - It fits well in the ear canal - does protrude outwards quite a bit, but at least I didn’t feel the weight or any slackness in fit. No fatigue either when wearing for long hours. Bonus Points: Color - the beautiful Blue color sets it apart from all the blacks and silvers out there. Warranty registration was extremely easy and accurate. Huge selection of earbud tips is included - so you’d be able to find the one that fits just right. Personal opinion on Sound Quality. I loved the sound. Deep bass and very rich sound. Not tinny, flimsy or lacking anywhere. It’s a very full, mellow and clear sound. Compared it with multiple others similarly priced ones I though would sound good - watching multiple youtube reviews etc.. but none of them sounded so good. And none of them were a complete product package as I outlined above. I am floored. I believe I got a product that is well worth the price. And I hope it would last me quite a few years. A true gem.

Sound Quality is Great, But Hardware Doesn’t Last
These headphones were very nice, I enjoyed the noise cancelling and sound quality, it was as the positive reviews described. However, the fatal flaw with these is the fact that I have had the left earbud go out on me... Twice. I am on my second set after receiving the first with a dead left earbud out of the box. Second pair didn't even last a year before the left earbud went out as well. And its not like it is completely dead, it still charges and "turns on", just no audio plays. Very disappointed in the quality of this product, I would not purchase these headphones again.

A Game-Changer in True Wireless Earbuds!
I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of wireless earbuds that combine superb sound quality, advanced features, and seamless connectivity. The Technics HiFi True Wireless Multipoint Bluetooth Earbuds have not only met but exceeded my expectations in every way imaginable! First and foremost, the sound quality is unparalleled. The bass is deep and punchy, the mids are clear and detailed, and the highs are crisp without being harsh. Whether I'm listening to my favorite tunes or diving into a podcast, these earbuds deliver an immersive audio experience that's second to none. The noise-canceling feature is a game-changer. It effortlessly drowns out the hustle and bustle of my daily commute, allowing me to enjoy my music without any distractions. And the fact that these earbuds support LDAC compatibility takes the audio quality to an even higher level, making every song feel like a private concert. One of the standout features for me is the 3-device multipoint connectivity. This is a true game-changer for those of us who juggle multiple devices throughout the day. I can seamlessly switch between my phone, tablet, and laptop without the hassle of disconnecting and reconnecting at work. It's a level of convenience that I never knew I needed until now! Wireless charging is the future, and these earbuds embrace it wholeheartedly. The included wireless charging case makes topping up the battery a breeze, and I love the peace of mind that comes with knowing my earbuds are always ready to go. Speaking of battery life, these earbuds hold up their end of the bargain. I'm consistently impressed by how long they last on a single charge. Whether it's a long flight or a marathon workday, the Technics HiFi True Wireless Earbuds keep the music playing. And let's not forget call quality. These earbuds have taken my phone conversations to the next level. The impressive call quality ensures that my voice comes through crystal clear, and the noise-canceling feature minimizes background noise, making calls a breeze even in noisy environments. The Technics HiFi True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds have truly raised the bar for what wireless earbuds can achieve. From exceptional sound quality and noise cancellation to the convenience of multipoint connectivity and wireless charging, these earbuds have it all. If you're a music lover, a podcast enthusiast, or someone who just appreciates top-notch technology, these earbuds are an absolute must-have. Highly recommended!

Can't get past the white noise
Sound quality and noise canceling were decent. In between songs or after a call, when there's no audio playing, there's this electrical white noise, like someone from the future is trying to communicate with you through the radio frequency. I'm certain this is a byproduct of the noise cancelling function. I couldn't get over it since I often have the earbuds on just to suppress the noise around me, without music. These earbuds are too expensive for this type of flaw.

Good quality earbuds.
When it comes to earbuds and headphones, there's no two ways about it. You get what you pay for. $30 will get you a tinny, hollow sound, no features to speak of, and you'll have to replace them in a month or two. $60 will get you passable audio quality and maybe six months of use. $100 can buy you decent sound or additional features, but not both. It's only really $150-200, you can start to demand quality, improved functionality, and longevity. This review holds them to that standard, given the price range. 5/5 - Sound Quality, Comfort, Functionality Sound quality is crisp and clear. Has both an ambient sound mode and a noise canceling mode. Noise canceling makes it difficult to hear when someone standing right next to you tries to speak to you, though it won't completely block out all ambient noise. They come with something like ten adjustable ear pieces for each ear, so optimizing your fit is easy. I have never had them fall out on me, which has been a problem with other earbuds in the past. It also has an app that allows you to adjust audio settings as well as touch controls. 4/5 - Battery Life Pretty standard, I can usually get 6-7 hours on a full charge, and the docking port has a fast charge which gets the battery up quite quickly. I have had buds which last a fair bit longer, but this was not a dealbreaker to me. 2.5/5 - The charging dock Easily the worst thing about these earbuds, and my only real complaint, is how touchy the charging dock is. It has four light indicators - red, yellow, and green - to indicate the level of charge that the dock has. The fourth is a blinking red light, which indicates an issue which is preventing the earbuds from being charged. The least bit of moisture, dirt, sweat, etc. interferes with the charging. Even fresh out of the box when I first bought them, the red light would blink regularly, sometimes even after cleaning. Irritating when you don't realize it and go to use them, only to find they haven't charged over the past 8 hours because there was a microscopic skin flake on them. My girlfriend has the same pair and has a similar issue. This is not so frequent that it makes me want to give it less than 4 stars, because they really are fantastic apart from this issue, and the issue can often be resolved by just blowing into the dock like a Nintendo cartridge. That said, it's also the only reason I don't give 5 stars. Keep your ears clean, check your buds to ensure they're charging.

Gold standard Bluetooth earbuds for 2023
I have so much to say about these! Best sound, best noise cancelation (like wow I didn't know cancelation like this existed), best fit and best sound fidelity, great battery life, HiFi codec. Bonus wireless charging feels good bro. Puts my OnePlus pro wireless 2 and sennheiser momentum 2 & 3 earbuds to shame. Also stomps my wife's apple pod pros. The sound signature is out of this world. Other high end earbuds need to get there game together because Technics knocked it out of the park with these. Bluetooth in 2023 seemes to have max out at 1,000 mbps and these earbuds are capable to using every single bit for the best HiFi sound. Can't wait untill wifi is used for earbud transmission in the future. This theoretically will increase the size of HiFi lossless transmission 1000 mbps +. For now these are king, they are the best you can get. Get them while you can, they are worth every single penny 👍

Update: 4 months later...
Edit 5/14/24: Dropping back to 2 stars because of Support. I've be spoiled by Soundcore, and Apple, and I can admit that, as it has set the bar for what I expect service-wise pretty high. My buds case stopped charging past 50%. That was weird in and of itself for such a short period of time. I don't expect these things to last forever, but 4 months is a really short amount of time. To add insult to injury, support only is through a contact us link which creates a ticket. I got a general email back with trouble shooting instructions that didn't actually address my issue. When I finally did get an actual person to email, my only option is to mail them in for a repair at my expense. Now, again, I know everyone can't be Apple, but for the price point of these, I certainly expected something a bit more accommodating. Soundcore, which is often available at 50-75% of the price, offers advanced replacements while in warranty. At the very least, I would have expect a pre-paid shipping label for me to send these in for repair, even if it ended up being determined that my warranty was voided for some reason. I'm disappointed in them. Now today, they are stuck in a pairing mode loop. I cannot get it to exit pairing mode or connect to a previously paired device. Up until now, I've had a hard price limit on any earbuds I bought because of diminishing returns at the high end. Now I'm vindicated in that belief system. I've been disappointed with Sennheiser's customer service, and now Technics. It's a shame too, because I really enjoyed these buds. Edit 1/29/24: These are my favorite buds that I own, and I've owned a LOT. Increasing from 4 stars to 5 stars. Original Review: I'll be the first to say I'm super critical of earbuds. For the longest time I would not go over $150 on earbuds for any reason. I'd read about the AZ80, but these were on sale so I took a chance on them. This have quickly become some of my favorite earbuds. Not the best, but certainly a favorite. Here's the obligatory Pros and Cons list: Pros: - App - The app is quirky, but offers a lot of control options for these earbuds. I like that you can control just about everything in how these earbuds respond to your taps and holds, including volume. My favorite app experience is still Soundcore, but I still like these. A cherry on top is the ability to name your connections. I never knew how valuable this could be until I experienced it. My other buds just beep or say "2 devices connected" but I never really know what I'm connected to if I'm no looking at it. The ability to have them tell me "Smartphone" or "Computer" is HUGE! If a connection has an issue I can go straight to the source of the issue. I love it! - Sound - These sound incredibly clear. I can hear details in my music with these that I never noticed were there before on music I've listened to for years. Initially I had a problem with it because the bass response was light. The thing is, on some songs it feels light, and on others it really thumps. On all of my songs, I have a clarity without them being harsh that really shines. - ANC - I know everyone's ears are different, but these legitimately surprised me with how effective their ANC is for my uses. They beat out the Soundcore Space A40, Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Jabra Elite 8, Jabra Elite 10, and Pixel Buds Pro. The only buds I own that these don't beat are the Soundcore Liberty 4NC. Of buds I've tried, I will also place these above the Beats Studio Buds Plus and Fit Pro, and Sony Link Buds S. These do NOT beat the Airpods Pro 2 in ANC though. - Transparency - This is a very important feature to me, and these are some of the best I've tried. The best at this are hands down the Airpods Pro 2. I'd place these just above the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. These do not have conversation detection like the Galaxy's, but I haven't found this to be an issue. - Touch Controls - These are bar none the most responsive touch controls I've ever used on any earbuds ever. That's a large part of what makes these so enjoyable to me. The long press is not too long. There are very few accidental touches. It clearly recognizes double and triple taps almost perfectly. - Control Options - Aside from Jabra, these are the most comprehensive in terms of convenient control options being available, including the ability to mute the mic on a call from the earbuds itself. It can be a lot to get used to, but the ability to customize almost every function in a way that works for you is an amazing, if not understated convenience. - Multipoint - These are the only buds I've seen on the market offering 3-way multipoint. I regularly use 3 devices: my personal phone, work phone, and computer. It is a HUGE benefit to not have to juggle connections. I love when I can switch between 3 devices seamlessly. - Battery - I haven't scientifically measured how long the battery actually lasts, but it gets me through a work day, which is all I can really ask for. My Soundcore buds are both better, and the Jabra's do pretty well here too. In my book, the only buds I have that have been a problem for me are the Galaxy buds. - Ear Tips - These come with a LOT of ear tips in the box. Normally I'm able to use the tips that came in the box and I never even open the tips that come with a set. Initially, I didn't like the sound or ANC as much as my others for the price. Then I changed the tips. That was a GAME CHANGER!!! Just going one slight size down made these buds much more comfortable, and it improved the ANC DRAMATICALLY! - Just My Voice - Out of the box the call quality on these are just okay. Turning on Just My Voice basically eliminates background noise during calls. It makes it almost dead silent during calls. I only wonder why this isn't on by default. Cons: - Multipoint - I know, I know. How can it be a con if you just listed it as a pro? I don't know if the issue lies in the buds or the computers I use. I have a custom built PC and a Macbook Air I use at home. Whenever I connect to those, the connection is DOMINATED by those, even if I haven't used them in a while. By sheer virtue of them having been connected, I can't listen to anything else on any other device as long as I'm connected to those. Phone calls aren't an issue, only media. My work computer does not create this issue. This leads me to... - App - There are only 2 real issues I have with the app, but they are admittedly minor. The first is the fact that there is no dark mode on the app. Nitpicky, I know. The other though is bigger. There is no connected list of devices. With Soundcore, there is no ability to pull connection from a previously paired device if 2 devices are already connected. However, I can deactivate a connection from the connected list in the app. This may not be a big deal, but I got used to doing that. My primary use for this would be to disconnect one of my dominant computers when I'm away from them, but alas, it's not there. - Voice Prompt - While I'm glad that it's there, it's loud and in your face when something connects. I would love the option to change the voice or at least turn the volume down. - Sound - If you are a bass head, these may not be for you. In the beginning, I thought these weren't going to be for me. It wasn't until I listened to these back to back that I got to appreciate how clear these actually sound. You can tweak the EQ, but the bass never gets to the level of my Liberty 4 NC. - Feature Set - Admittedly, another nitpick. For the retail price, these buds seem to be missing some notable features that the competition is offering. Most notably, conversation detection and Spatial Audio. I'm not suggesting that these are make or break features, but these cost more at retail than the Google Pixel Buds Pro, Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, and cost the same as the Airpods Pro 2, and ALL of those buds have those 2 features available. Even the Jabra Elite 10 offers Spatial Audio for any device. All in all, I know it seems like I'm gushing over these, but I really like these a lot. There are a few unknown quantities. I have know idea of how this company's customer service is. I don't know if these will stand the test of time. Admittedly, I got these on a sale price of $153, and that is certainly affecting my perspective. Right now though, these are my favorite earbuds that I own.

Love them
I’ve gone through so many earbuds. From various AirPods, jbl, beats, etc. but these are the best ones. I initially bought the 80’s and I did love the sound stage but they wouldn’t stay in my ear. Ordered these and boom problem solved. I use mine on noise cancelling or ambient noise. The controls are awesome and fully customizable. Small case fits in pocket nicely. I held off on the review to see how they’d hold up but they’re great. I use it as my work / daily earbuds. They’re comfortable, sound is decent. Not as bass heavy as the 80’s were but for the price it’s understandable. I wear both earbuds in and I find them loud enough when I do that. Give them a try!

Great audio
Wow, amazing audio, far better than a similar price monster product. Sound canceling works great and I love the sound enhancement.

Technics AZ60M2
The reviews for this model have been very positive so I was very eager to try them out. Please keep in mind that I am no audiophile and my Kypselidaphobia influenced my opinion a little. So when these arrived they were both covered in earwax which I thought was a bold design choice. The included pictures paint a better picture. Case Very solidly made and the lid closes with a satisfying click. Not much by way of choice for silicone cases right now however. Sound quality Muffled. Unsure as to why. ANC Seems okay but turning the ANC on didn't fix the issue with the sound quality mentioned above. Mic quality Unsure as I didn't take any calls. At the end of the day, due to the muffled sound, I ended up returning the buds.
