One of the best mangas I've ever read. The storyline, art-style, characters, portrayal of serious topics like religious trauma and the ending, everything is done so well. Every aspect of this manga screams absolute perfection!!

it has many serious topics which are delivered in a very raw manner. the art is drop dead gorgeous and the bittersweet end had me in tears. literally so beautiful, i love this manga.

Not only did the art steal my breath away, but the plot had me on my knees. How incredible that, with a few dialogues here and there, I could feel the character's desperation and deep attachment to one another.I'd never heard of this author, but I'm glad I took the leap of faith and bought it. This wonderful story will now have a special place on my shelves.

This is a very beautifully written book. However, I can't help but feel like it should have come with some disclaimers given it's topics (similar to how Tokyo pop labels their manga).It deals with: religious trauma, rape, gender dysphoria, murder, suicide, alcoholism/addiction and PTSD.I felt like despite reading the summary on the back, I walked into this story rather blindly. I cannot say for certain that I would have chosen this book if I had known it dealt with religious trauma.However, despite my adversion to reading this sort of topic, it is still a beautifully written book with plenty of twists and turns to keep you interested, and the amount of spicy scenes were kept to a minimal and for the most part, drawn in a way that censors them.5/5. Glad I read it though.

I’ve read this story online but I just had to get the physical copy too! The art style and whole setup is so well done and executed.The story is sad, melancholic and quite deep.I felt really touched by Alan and Hayden’s tale about life and its unfairness if you’re not up to the standards.10/10 can recommend!

echt een super goede manga, een van mijn favorieten, zeker een heftige, maar het waren de tranen waard.ik raad dit echt heel erg aan voor mensen die verdrietige verhalen wel leuk vindt, en zet de tissues maar alvast klaar
