I use this,chair to get my daughter out of bed.Very easy to use.I would recommend this to anyone that has to lift someone and the crank,is easy to use.

Good chair but hard to move patients very slippery seat and rest back to hard and height also the bottom legs hard to open wider to get between wheelchair to seat patient

I have ALS and no movement in my lower extremities. I purchased the chair to be able to be placed chairs or over the toilet. The hardest part was trying to figure out how to get on the pad so they could be hooked up to the lift. The easiest way is to be pulled to the foot of my bed and rolled back-and-forth, putting half of the pad under each half of me, then strapping the pad into the lift. It is very time-consuming using the hand crank and the legs do not automatically open up wide enough for a lot of chairs or wheelchairs. Also, there is no way to contact the manufacturer for extra parts or if you have a problem? I have a problem with the internal mechanism that raises the chair, but Amazon told us they would contact seller but then informed us that we would need to contact the manufacturer for the one year warranty. But they couldn’t tell us who the manufacturer was so the one year warranty is nonexistent.The pad, however, is better than the other pads of similar chairs.

I bought this for my husband who has ALS. It is sturdy and strong. It’s also very easy to assemble and great to use. I highly recommend.
