These are so much fun for all the family. We live at a resort that is really picky about what you can bring into the pools. These were fast approved as they are soft and don’t pop-up out the water like a projectile. Safety first! Right? Our grands talked me into getting these for them while they visited this summer. From our 7 yo to the 80yo, everyone could safely and comfortably use them in the water. Now, hubby and I are ordering 2 more. Hubby had lower back fusion earlier this year and in the last stages of recovery. It’s been difficult for him and he has been depressed this summer as he was avoiding the pool because it was too hard on him to enjoy the pools with his motion limitations as he recovers. I finally convinced him to try this seated float and he was shocked how comfortable he was in the water and continues to enjoy it every day at the pool. Just this fact has brought him back from the monotony of not being up to his usual active lifestyle here at the resort. If you need some additional support in the pool this is awesome and big Joe brand is IMO, the best and easiest of this style pool float based on these facts: 1) size worked well from our 43 inch grand to our 6 foot SIL. Weight held was from 60 to 215lbs individually. 2) very light weight even wet. Our 7 and 11 yo grands carried them wet and dry with ease. 3) this set of 2 was 1/2 the price of buying from our local pool store. Sorry locals, that’s too much difference to buy local, which is usually my preference. 4) the stitching is excellent and the fabric is thick, high quality, fast drying. 5) you don’t have to use it as a seat to enjoy it. You can use it under your arms as you would an ordinary pool noodle without having to make any adjustments at all. 6) one float held me AND my 11yo granddaughter and didn’t sink at all. That was a total of approximately 240 lbs. Sadly, we got busted by the lifeguard that wouldn’t let us use it that way. 🤭. Safety first. though, this grandma with her super swimmer babies didn’t see the harm. Still, rules are rules, and they are meant to be used by one person at a time. I only describe the double-up for the weight reference and do not recommend doubling up in it. Also note: this is a toy! It is in no way to be confused with a water safety flotation device for those unable to swim. For us, living on the Gulf of Mexico/America and having acres of poolside and beach, we are all, even the littlest, have many years of formal swimming lessons and are not at risk using this float in shallow or deep water. Children and adults who cannot swim well, should never use this without constant supervision or a personal life vest appropriately sized and adjusted snuggly. It is easy to slip off this float (that is one of its benefit IMO) but these floats can quickly drift into deep water. Be safe, not sorry. ❤️

This will be one of the best floats you will ever buy for your pool. Sturdy, well made, comfortable and versatile. Sit, lay, paddle, hang doesn't matter. Filled with compacted magical Styrofoam beads, this float is comfy for all sizes. If you require or just want more butt room in the sling part, I believe they make a bigger Joe. No more blowing up plastic that can't stand the prolonged heat. Mine have been out in the Arizona sun for a few years now and still look new. They seem pricey however think of how many plastic uncomfortable floats you have already bought. You will not regret this purchase.

Big Joe floats are the best. Easy to bring along, they don’t take up too much space. Mine have lasted two summers so far with no issues and still look cute. Best of all, no inflation needed! I would love to try the different styles.

It’s so nice not having to inflate. Very comfy for ppl of many heights and sizes.

They are not like the ones in stores. Zipper wont stay zipped. Would not purchase
