STOPWOOFER Dog Bark Collar - No Shock, No Pain - Rechargeable Barking Collar for Small, Medium and Large Dogs - w/2 Vibration & Beep Modes (Blue)

We're keeping our daughter's dog while she finishes up college. It's very young and likes to bark, LOUDLY, a lot. Her apartment neighbors complained and the manager told her the dog had to go. No way are we using a shock collar as I think those are cruel to use on pets. This "no shock" collar works very well but is a little hard to understand how to set it up. I had to watch a You-Tube video a couple of times to figure it out. Once I got the settings I wanted, it worked immediately on Miss Barksalot. It gives out a high pitched signal that the dog hears, followed by a vibration right at her throat. It doesn't hurt her but she definitely doesn't like it. She won't bark with it on. It doesn't help much at all with constant whining, but works great for barking. The battery has to be recharged about every 2 days but it doesn't take long to charge.

I received this collar aa few days ago and was happy to get the blue instead of the bright orange! However, it doesn't work for my 10 lb dog, regardless of how high I set the sound and vibration modes. It's too bad, because it's nicely made, lightweight and the battery lasts a long time.It does pick up other sounds, another dog barking, the radio and nearby noises and will go off. Even at that, it doesn't phase my dog while wearing it. I am not a stranger to dog behavioral issues , having worked and trained with dogs many years. My dog participates in obedience training and I work with him daily. I was hoping, in addition to the training, the collar would be a plus for those times when he is barking. Some dogs bark often and others not so much. I have a barker and it's disturbing to my neighbors.I contacted the company with my concerns and asked for their suggestions and so far, I was instructed to turn the settings up higher, which I did 2 days ago to no avail. I see a lot of positive reviews about this collar, and am disappointed it didn't work for us. Update: 07/06/23 - Stopwoofer has contacted me and given me the choice of either the upgraded version of this collar, or a refund. I choose the refund as I have already purchased a different collar.

It does the job well. My only complaint is sometimes it malfunctions (vibrates randomly) and it's annoying/uncomfortable to my dog . All in all I love, really manages her barking

Our Sheepadoodle is now a calmer and happier member of our family, thanks to the STOP WOOFER dog collar!Additionally, we've noticed a delightful change in our pup's demeanor since he started wearing the STOP WOOFER collar. Not only has it effectively addressed his incessant barking, but it seems to have a calming effect on him. His usual bouts of excitement, accompanied by adorable whining, have noticeably decreased. It's as if the collar has a tranquilizing touch, granting us peaceful moments and a more composed, contented fur companion. We're thrilled to witness this positive shift in his behavior, making our time together even more enjoyable and harmonious.Since we just got the collar, assessing the battery life is a bit premature. However, we can happily report that the initial charge was impressively quick, and after a full day of use, the collar is still holding its charge like a champ. This bodes well for its longevity and reliability, giving us confidence in its continued effectiveness in curbing our pup's persistent barking. We're eager to see how long the battery lasts with regular use, but the early signs are promising!UPDATE ON THE BATTERY:The battery life is relatively short, requiring recharging every 2 to 3 days. To err on the side of caution, I opt to charge it every other day. It's not excessively bothersome, simply a routine aspect to consider.

(Note, although I am a Vine Voice--this was not a Vine item--I paid for this.) The product was not that easy to program--but with the help of the You Tube instructions I managed to do it. I never like products that are complicated to program and this was--but not the worst, just so time consuming. It worked great the first few times I used it and then it didn't seem to be effective any longer--after about the 4th time--I then found that the battery wasn't holding--by the 6th or 7th time, it would only work when plugged in --as soon as i unplugged it, nothing--Its useless to me now. I will be looking for another company to buy another and hope the battery thing isn't an issue across the board.

Hi, we bought this product as a gift for our dog. We use it every time we give him a ride. It worked well in the first a couple months then it started to sound weird and finally stopped working about a year after we purchased. We did not expect that to happen. We’d like to hear back from the seller if we can get a replacement. Thank you.
