Very Handy
I'm using this on a monther/daughter lamp and it's ideal for keeping three or four remote controls out of harm's way but within reach.

Misleading photos and inaccurate description
Some photos -- including the main photo -- are of a metal shelf, the remainder are of the actual cheap and nasty bit of plastic you are actually buying.Doesn't support anywhere close to 3.5cm diameter pole as the description claims -- looks like 2.2cm at most.I've encountered sturdier tat out of a christmas cracker.

What do you expect …
Well for £8 I wasn’t expecting much at all however it’s cheap and plastic (looks metal in pictures ) I actually ordered two because I liked the size , I brought this to sit a headphone splitter on and does the job wellCouple of flaws though1. The centre dip came sharp and had to be filed down to make smooth , this would have scratched anything put on the shelf2. The rubber bit that secures the shelf scratched the pole I attached it to as the cheap rubber had split and screw poked throughI think if your looking for a sturdy shelf with a quality rubber Matt this shelf is not for youIf your looking for cheap plastic that will hold up something lite weight then all good

Tray
An excellent tray to clip to a music stand. It has a lip all the way around it, to stop things dropping of it. Ideal holder at a reasonable price.

size is wrong clamp wasn't big enough.
This is fine for what it is, but it's listed as being able to clamp to a 35mm pipe and it can't. it's max size is much smaller than that.I wanted this to clamp to a monitor arm pole which is 32mm and it didn't fit.that mean that this is a terrible piece of kit. for a smaller pole it would be fine for the money but it's miss listed hence the 1 star.

Nice and sturdy
I've used this a few times, to put things on while singing and playing - plectrum, etc. It's more sturdy than I was expecting, which is good and I have no problem in recommending it.

MADE OF PLASTIC! This mic stand tray is made entirely of plastic, and NOT metal as the page falsely claims.I would have bought a different brand, if I had known.Plastic NOT metal :-(
