Perfect in every way …
If you’re done with sweaty gyms or meat heads … this is a perfect versatile machine for the corner of your garage or basement. I am using it for light lat pull work outs and seated rows. Not for bulking up but maintaining muscle health with longevity in mind!! Great price, great quality, exactly what I needed … with no sweaty gym smell!

Exceeded expectations
As a value-priced piece of equipment for a home gym, my expectations were set, based on purchases of similar-class of equipment. A couple of things really exceeded my expectations:1. Packing - the gazillion little nuts, bolts, washers and pieces were grouped together by assembly step, making assembly quicker and error-free. And it was accurate!2. Smooth operation - the pully system is really smooth. I expect to lubricate the rail periodically, but it works great out of the box.3. Well-designed - compared to other/similar products, you can do a lot of exercises on this thing - lat pull downs, face pulls, rows, tricep push down's (but short-stroke), and more.4. Footprint - fits in a pretty small spot.My research and comparison paid off this time (it doesn't always). Super happy so far!

4 1/2 Stars
For the price - this machine does the job. We've only had it put together about a week and my son and I use it daily. It took a couple hours to put together - one part of the metal pieces was bent, but most of the machine was put together - that it wasn't worth taking apart. The rowing mechanism is quite annoying as the chain and the pulley system are loud. Overall - this was a great addition to my workout room and a way to add diversity to my workouts. for in-home gyms - I would recommend.

Just what I needed
What what I needed, working the back and arm muscles as well as the legs. Was simple to put together, would be nice if they would leble the bolts better, but for us that are handy it was easy.

Terrible product
Maybe i received a defective product or something but the product i received was terrible felt ultra cheap more like i paid $50 dollars and was missing things. I put this thing half way together and took it apart to send it back it was that bad of quality and didn’t feel safe at all, i even realized they welded the low row feet mount on backwards. I noticed mine looked different and cheaper than other reviews i seen so maybe they changed the design, whatever it is i would recommend you just save the extra money and get something better or even a diy pulley system would way cheaper and better. This just is not it.

Great machine for home use
I’m gonna go ahead and give this machine a 5 star rating even though I had to make a trip to the hardware store for some missing nuts and bolts. Once assembled it worked great. It pulls smooth as long as after assembly, you put some oil on the column that the weights move along. I’ve been using it multiple times per week without any issues for a few weeks now. It doesn’t seem unstable or likely to tip like some of the other reviewers have said, but then again, I’m only using it as intended (pull downs, rows, tricep extensions, cable curls etc.). I’m 5’9” and get full extension on lat pull downs, with the seat at the lowest position, with about two inches before the weights bottom out. If you’re taller than 6’ you may be better off going with a different machine, otherwise it’s a great buy for the price.

Great value for the money, but limited range of motion
I really like this piece of equipment, it seems to be more thoughtfully built than a lot of the other cheap lat pulldowns on Amazon. The kinked top piece adds height only where it's needed, the cushions are nice and durable, and all of the bolt locations are well thought out.I just couldn't get past how short the range of motion was. I ended up getting rid of this one in favor of another lat pulldown that had a fuller range of motion. This is fine for lat pulldowns, but anything else - lat prayers, lateral shoulder raises, tricep pushdowns, etc - the available range of motion is just too small. I'm only 5'6" and my wingspan isn't huge, and this was still limiting.Unfortunately the only other ER KANG lat pulldown doesn't have the mid cable attachment point. That may or may not be a big deal to you. I've only found one exercise useful with the mid attachment point so far. If this thing swapped the weight storage for fuller range of motion, it would be the best budget lat pulldown on amazon.
