Did the job. Repaired my clog. No complaints with product.

Photo of boot sitting on the material and photo of the same boot with the material affixed to the sole with a small heel piece. The material seems heavy and durable. I wore the boots a couple of times since making the repair and the material still looks new.Adhesive is required. I used shoe goop for my repair, but there are other brands on the market. Clean up the sole, rough up the sole and the material apply adhesive and material, then let it cure. I used masking tape to wrap it to apply pressure and keep the edges down. As an amateur, I feel my effort turned out sloppy but okay.I will put out the reminder that shoe repair is generally done by craftsmen skilled in the trade and if my attempt to use this product had been negative, I would still rate it with 5 stars because is is a heavy durable rubber sole material that would likely give the desired results in skilled hands.

This stuff would of got a higher rating if it would of came textured on the " glue side" it will not hold a bond un less you figure out a way to scuff the glue side up before applying the glue...it is slick and has nothing to adhere to otherwise..

I was able to repair my wife's favorite boots with this material. It was easy to cut the shape, rough the surfaces and glue to the shoes. Obviously, the quality of the glue is important and not a factor here, apart from adhesion to the surface.I am very pleased with this repair material and recommend it.
