I have been searching for a holder for the car where I can put my phone so it's easy to glance at while I'm driving. I tried one of those grabby things that attaches to the a/c vent, but it would come loose sooner or later. This holder is exactly what I wanted (but didn't know it). My phone is in a wallet-type holder. the two brackets that hold the phone pull out and leave plenty of room to hold the phone sideways. I can let the case cover drape over the back of the holder. I'd attach a picture but I can't figure out how to take a picture of the phone while it's in the holder. If I do, I'll come back and add a pic. Bottom line: outstanding product. Highly recommend. Later-- I'm back with a picture. For obvious reasons, my phone isn't in the picture. I wanted something with a small enough footprint that it would fit on the ledge in front of the backup/radio screen. It does stick out a bit, but enough of it fits to stick well. How it will do in the middle of a Texas summer when the temperature inside the car can get to 145 degrees, only time will tell.

Thin mounting plate tapes to dash. Holder sticks to base plate with suction (perfect hold). Base swivels easily to angle your device. Spring loaded tensioner allows quick placement and removal of my Galaxy S24 Ultra with Otterbox case and holds it firmly enough. Can manipulate everything 1-handed. Its the best dash mounted phone holder Ive ever used.

So far so good! Have been used for two weeks. Easily attached to my heater vent and works well for My I-phone 6 plus. Keeps my phone in place. You have to put a magenet on the back of your phone in order for it to work, but is fine. Was 5 stars. UPDATE: I still like this but now that I have had it for a few months I noticed sometimes the magnet is not exactly matched up my phone just drops from the holder. Sometimes it drops and will hit my arm or knee while driving. I usually scares me a little. So I would put at 3.5 stars now.

Just received this product in the mail today. QUICK NOTES MAGNETS - The magnets are plenty strong to hold on to my IPhone 6s Plus. VENT CLAMP - The actual vent clip is a single slit design with longer arms than many. I have pretty thick vent plates and the slit was plenty big to fit over them. I like the single slit design like these because they are more relieable. METAL PLATES - This product includes 2 circle plates and one rectangle plate. All plates come with a matching protective film to protect your device from scratches. BALL HEAD - The ball head is easily seated firmly enough in its socket to support my iPhone 6s Plus at any angle without losing its position or turning. OVERALL - Overall I am very happy with this phone holder. It seems well made with the all aluminum head and everything feels sturdy. My only concern with any product like this would be the ball and socket joint becoming lose over time. I will follow up after a couple months to report how it's holding up!

The mount holds the phone in place well and is usable even with a loopy handle on the phone case. The one big complaint that i have is that the angle of the phone (leaning back) is too steep and picks up bright reflections from the front windshield/sky. The reflections make it impossible to view what is on the screen. I have been forced to turn the mount 180 degrees and have the phone lean inward. Not ideal but the only way to use it.

I have looked for many ways to hold my iPhone in place in the car. I need to see my phone at a glance especially when I am looking at my maps app for directions. Using this product that you can easily attach to the air conditioning vent is so convenient and works very well. I attach the magnet, that comes with the product, with glue to the carrying case of my phone. Then, when I get into my car I just attach my phone with the magnet to the magnet of the air vent holder. It is so easy! I can easily access my phone. I love this product and think it’s wonderful. It is an invaluable investment!

This was a gift for my husband for Christmas. I was concerned that it might not be rigid enough to actually hold a phone while clipped onto the vent. This totally surprised me! It works much better than the ones that stick to the dash. I bought one of those to, just to see which one worked better. The adhesive one didn't stick well. We ended up super gluing it to the dash of our older vehicle. I would highly recommend this vent one of the adhesive one. My husband loves it! Before he used to jam his phone in the cup holders or change holders in the vehicle. Now he can see his phone and get to it more easily...and I have a place to put my drink! :-)

Saw the ratings on this product and because I’m pretty picky, wanted to go with one highly rated/reliable. Everything was great in the beginning, but came back to my car from work one day 2 months in and the whole top and button clamping it down had popped off entirely, and only the base and spring remained on my dash. Had to search my car for the parts, and tried to reassemble with no luck. Completely unusable. Why spend money on a product that only lives for 2 months and is rendered useless? Please make this right. To the product’s credit, one thing I can say is that it removed itself super clean and easily off my dash. Kudos for that, but big thumbs down for the product being unusable thereafter. Not cool.
