This hat is perfect for my long hikes. It keeps the sun at bay and has a mesh to keep my head cool. Perfect fit and extremely functional.

I purchased this hat as additional sun protection for my mom. She wore it in the sun for hours at a golf tournament and it did not disappoint. It is very lightweight and the brim expanded to a great width to ensure coverage. The material that it is made from is good quality and easily packable. She loved the drawstring feature to secure the hat when she would drop it back while indoors. She uses it while gardening as well. Overall great value purchase!

Good protection

My skin burns easily so I always wear a hat outdoors. I've been using the same khaki canvas hat for hiking for years, but wanted to see if I could find something lighter and more ventilated for summer. This hat didn't really feel subjectively less hot in the sun, but I think the mesh ventilation must have meant I was sweating less. I got the navy; I wonder if a lighter color would feel cooler. As for looks, I was happy to find a navy blue hat, as it's a bit unusual and matches my hiking skirt. The brim is a bit wavy, probably from being shipped folded up, but not too egregious. I have an average sized head for a woman (as far as I know) and the hat is a bit big for me, but the cinching feature helps a little. The chin strap is integrated, not detachable, but I prefer to wear a chin strap anyway since you never know when the wind will pick up. I will keep using this hat.

My husband is a big fan of Tilley hats and tried to find one. This is a terrific substitute at a fraction of the price. Covers the ears and folds nicely for travel.

I like it. It's a good lightweight sun hat. Easily covers face, neck and ears from the sun. The mesh venting works well allowing the head to breath. The neck strap is not removable and needs to be cut off if you don't want it. So far I've just tucked it up into the head section without any irritation. The drawstring in the back helps find your optimal tightness. All in all it's a nice hat for men who want to keep the sun off their head and neck but don't want to look silly.

Needed a new hat for adventures in the Mexican ruins.I have a big head, hats are usually troublesome for me.I needed something to protect me, not be too cumbersome and would be breathable.This was perfect!

This hat is made out of light weight material. The wide brim is good sun protection. The size is easy to adjust.

Nice hat but it’s a little warm. Could use better airflow.
