Doesn't Fit Box
This outlet doesn't fit in a standard metal outlet box (the kind with round knockouts). It requires a deep box and if there's conduit attached to the box, you'll need to measure to make sure there's enough clearance. I wasn't able to install the outlet, but it looks very well-made. I will install in the future, in new construction, when I'll be able to easily have a box the outlet will fit in. The UL marking and build of the outlet gives me every confidence that this is dependable/safe.

Requires deep box
Solidly made outlet for 15A service. The unit istlef is particularly deep and will require a deep box to mount successfully. Includes a hidden-screw plate for clean appearance. While 20W isn't enough to run a laptop while charging, it can provide a decent quick charge for a phone or tablet.

Works with both iPhone and androids.
This outlet has PD for apple products and QC for android. Now I also have the last model 18w PD2 and can’t see any difference using a 20w PD3. It does the same thing, I’m sure someone could say it charges a phone 2 minutes faster, but the real reason you want this is to get rid of those wall wart things, charge phones, and keep the socket free for other stuff. So, technically the usbc can charge a MacBook and Chromebook in a pinch, when not in use, but really slow. Those laptops need 60 to 90 watts to charge, and be used at the same time. If you have a MacBook plugged in, and using it, it’ll show charging but the charge counting backwards. With other brands you have to pull the usb c cord out and back in to reset and charge the phone, if you get this elegrp model you won’t ever have to worry about a plugged in phone not charging.I wish the included cover plate was the same size as contractor plates.. from my picture you can see the outline of the original contractor plate to this new one. So if you had a sloppy contractor that needed those regular size plates to cover uneven holes, you can pick up any decora plate from the hardware store.
