My son loves this train! We gave it to him when he turned 2 and hadn't quite grasped the imaginative play with his train set yet. Now his favorite is using the remote which is so fun to see! He takes this train all over the house and even uses it on our hard floors, carpet and other places not just the tracks! The battery life is great. I believe we've only replaced the batteries once since November which considering how often it's used and that it sometimes pulls 7 additional train cars even up out train track hill bridge I'm pretty impressed by! It's been hours of fun for my little ones!

Amazing little train!! Goes up all of the hills we have made and through not-perfect connections pretty decently. (My son likes to push the limits of track creation) Has been going for hours. New favorite toy at the moment! Will update after a few weeks of use.

My toddler still loves this train. He plays with it sporadically all the time. It goes through a lot of batteries because my son forget it running sometimes. I wish the train car would stop flashing though. It continuously blinks with no off switch. But it still blinks though, so I guess it's internal battery must last a while.

Only slightly disappointed that once it starts in one direction it keeps going. I was hoping for one that would move forward only when my kiddo used the lever, but overall still a good purchase for any kiddo that likes to play trains but doesn’t realize putting their body weight into it will cause the track to crumble.

Its a ok toy train. The remote is pretty much useless. It is very expensive for what it is - quality and two pieces. Should have been sub ten dollars.

Great addition to my Grandsons train set

So my grandson loves trains we go all over riding different type of trains his favorite is steam trains he has a wood railroad I thought this would be a great addition being remote control he was very excited when it came but the first one didn't work the train would run manually but the remote didn't pair I tried every combination would not pair with the engine he was very disappointed I told him don't worry its Amazon we will just get another one so I requested a replacement two day later the replacement comes I can already tell the product had been opened previously but if it works what the heck but this one doesn't even work manually never mind remotely I tried everything back my grandson is getting upset with no luck these must be just junk don't cause your young ones to get upset stay away from these the original and the replacement are not even in the same box. I would have sent a picture but Amazon has to many permissions you have to grant them to take a picture

This was a complete rip off i payed so much for the train thinking the train would automatically respond but it does not. i have to click 5 or 8 times for it to respond i think its one of my worst purchases
