Bourgeat K743 Non-Stick Fry Pan

Good solid pan, cleans up well and seems to have a quite hard wearing surface so far. It is rather heavy, especially when full so may not be good for anyone with a compromised grip or arthritis. Handle does get warm but not as hot as I expected.

Good points:- it's flat, solid and cooks evenly - not too heavy- goes nicely under our pro-grill for omlettes etc- does pancakes nicelyBad points:- None really, we would have preferred 30cm but not available in this make.- Handle is very long (for stage)

I've been buying these for years, following a recommendation from Hugh Fearnley-Whatsit in one of his books. Best I've ever used. It's well made, oven safe, used on an Aga etc. Each one lasts me 2-3 years before I've knackered the non-stick coating.

Excellent frying pan. No gimmicks, just a thick, strong, yet light pan. I have had Stellar and Le Creuset pans in the past, which although perform very well are much more expensive. Also, the non stick lining on this pan seems more durable than the Le Creuset one. The thick aluminium allows for even heat distribution so you don't get any hotspots and the handle remains cool enough to hold even when the pan is heated smoking hot. All in all this is a great frying pan and I will definitely be sticking (metaphorically that is) with this brand. Maybe tempted to get a smaller one too, although the large size of this one is so useful I may just get another 32cm one.

Best non-stick frying pan ever, as recommended by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. I will be getting a smaller one for when we do not need the size, but for gods sake nag the rest of the family to leave the steel spatulas well alone!!!

I like that it cooks things and is too heavy for my wife to swing and hit me with it...
