I put these on 3 different brands of fuel containers without a problem. A little tight going on first time but after that they screwed off and on perfectly, a lot cheaper than buying new containers for sure.

Not bad. The caps for the end of the spout doesn’t have a strap to keep it attached to the spout. That would’ve been nice. I would have given 5 stars if it did. Otherwise, it is pretty much what I was looking for to replace the junk spouts that are on gas cans these days. I think they’re worth the price and do recommend them.

Great fit and better than struggling with "safety" spouts on new cans. I belief these are safer and easier than dealing with the new spouts that you need 3 arms to use ...

These things are really bad. I was going to try it today but before I tried it on my gas can I tried to fit the nozzle cap on the end of the nozzle. This is a threaded attachment and no matter how hard you try the cap is way too small to fit. The rubber gaskets to put in the nozzle cap are way too large and impossible to insert. Did not need the vent but the drill bit supplied seems too large. Not sure if it leaks when pouring gas yet but would guess it probably will. I actually have one day left to return these but I did surgery with my Dremel on a few of the pieces trying to make one fit. Edit: further investigation and I found there are caps without a tether that fit the spout perfectly and the rubber gasket fits well in it. Not sure why the tethered caps are included because they do not fit One other problem mentioned by another reviewer is the neck on my tank is too short so the spout nut bottoms out on the tank resulting in a loose spout and no seal. I am going to try and see if extra gaskets will create a tight seal. If not I will try and cut the large nut shorter with a dremel disc.

YAY - no more leaking gas. I have four 5 gal cans (B0007M4VRO). Nice cans but the design of the spouts that is supposed to reduce spills & air pollution actually creates more leaks than the old simple style - and is slower, making holding a full can a workout. This kit has the course threads needed for the above as well as a fine threads. And has 4 air vents with a drill bit so no guessing what size hole to drill. Install on a flat, seamless surface opposite the spout. The closable vents snap in perfect. You can use the spout caps and leave the spouts on the can but is awkward to store and when going to the gas station to fill up. So I also bought these 4 solid caps (B0BYNLCHLK) and put on these nice bendy spouts when needed. I really only needed 1 spout but needed 4 vents so bought this kit that was cheaper than buying only what I needed separately. Now I have spares if they ever break. I also have a 2 gal can that I fill from the 5 gal cans for lawn mower and motorcycles that is way easier to hold and dispense. HINT: use non-ethanol gas that stores 4 times longer, is better for carbureted engines, and does not eat rubber & plastic in your engines.

I hate the nozzles on my existing gas cans ao bad I would love to rate them higher. I found the part that attaches to the can just fine but getting the cap and its attachment threaded on what frustrating. Once on i thought I’m home free but the rubber washer for airtight seal seemed slightly too big and thought maybe i had them switched incorrectly with those for the airgap but those were too small and fell right out. I ended up using a screwdriver to push them in but still feel they are too big and inhibit the fit of the cap. My final complain is that the nozzle cap doesn’t thread easily onto the nozzle as if they are unmatched threads. I gave up and fortunately the caps from the old can nozzles seemed to fit much better.

great value now have 4 jerry cans that can be used again without leaking gas everywhere, particularly like the screw on cap for the nozzle for transport

They fit a standard gas can. I like the fact you don't have to take the spout off to close it off.

They only fit certain types of gas cans

The spout is to small for orignal cap and the coarse cap that comes with kit is to tight won’t thread on, maybe if you really force it on it would work.
