Good choice of music, keys are easily accessible if your harp is tuned to C. Ideal for the novice harp player who has a musical background.

I love finding these! I do my own arranging, and it is time consuming. I love having these in simple, sight-readable format for a more advanced harpist.Still great for newer harpists, as each piece has plenty of options to improve skills such as pattern recognition, and being able to play smooth runs.Marked with lever/pedal notes at the bottom of the stave.....not in the newer diamond format....the only drawback, but you could easily pencil in your lever changes.Fingering is provided, making sight reading easier, but of course you can change fingering to suit yourself.Has an hallelujah chorus excerpt that is probably the hardest....along with a Handel Chaconne with a lot of runs.....but all good things to learn how to do.Uses the high A that is not on most smaller lap harps....., and a few go higher.

I use this as a teaching tool for my harp students, but I also use many of the pieces when I play weddings. It's a good book - have enjoyed it for years.

Die Stücke sind alle durchweg mit Fingersätzen versehen, was gerade für relative Anfänger sehr hilfreich ist! Außerdem sind sie wirklich schön gesetzt, im Vergleich zu den Originalen sehr vereinfacht, aber in ansprechender Weise. Klingt nicht simpel und ist m.E. genau die richtige Mischung zwischen Spielbarkeit für Nicht-Profis und Genuss für die Ohren.
