Sturdy, functional, and not bad looking
Just bought my third one of these for storage in our basement. They are very sturdy and look quite good, especially considering the price. Word of advice -- pay close attention when following the directions or you can go wrong. The directions are clear, but if you get ahead of yourself, you could get in trouble. Takes me perhaps two hours to assemble, and again, that's being careful. I use a cordless drill and ensure I don't overtighten, and it's pretty painless. The most aggravating part is trying to line up the doors -- that's the only stage where you really need a second pair of hands, although it is possible to do it by yourself.Anyway, I love these, and when the price dropped to $135, I couldn't resist grabbing another.

Looks better than other MDF cabinets
I normally like to purchase solid wood furniture but I needed an inexpensive cabinet that fit a tight space and had a lot of storage while still going with my rustic French Chateau style of decor. This cabinet was a good price, had very good instructions, came undamaged and well packed with styrofoam, and was easy for me( a 40ish woman with above average but not professional building skills) to build in a full 2 hours. I did get assistance from my husband with holding the doors and attaching the hinges as it is difficult to hold the door up and level the needed 6 inches off the floor while attaching. Could be done easily with one person by just propping up the door onto something verses using a foot. 😉 The delivery box was very large and much heavier than I was expecting. I am pretty strong butthis thing was delivered by an Amazon delivery team to my porch and it was too awkward and heavy for me to lift into my house. I was able to lift one end into the front door then slide the box into the house without too much trouble. I used the cheap looking round stickers to cover the predrilled holes for the included knobs and went with my upgraded hardware to achieve more of the style I was going for. I have this in a spare bedroom so I don't plan to be in and out of it daily but it should suffice for my needs very nicely. I am pleased with the purchase for the price I paid and expected a low grade piece of furniture so I was actually very pleased with the outcome. It's particle wood and the back is super cheap and thin with a piece of heavy duty duct tape on the seam. Nothing high quality about it bit I would definitely buy it again and recommend for an inexpensive option.

Good piece of furniture but only if you’re lucky
***Update!-I received the white oak two door cabinet and I love it even more than the 18 inch “gray” cabinet. It looks so much better in the space and of course offers more room for my kid’s arts and crafts.Be aware that it isn’t a true white. It has brownish grain running through it that makes it more of a cream color. It took me a long time to assemble alone and I again needed help with putting the doors on.Everything was in pristine condition and nothing broke when I was working on it (lesson learned). It’s also HEAVY when in the box. I have bruises from attempting to drag it into the house and in the end I just had my husband do it.The 18 inch was moved and is now a pantry in the kitchen, which is working out great and giving us more space.Overall, I’m very happy with both of my purchases. ********I ordered this cabinet to use for my kids’ arts and crafts supplies, which tend to get scattered throughout the house if you don’t have a specific place for them.I originally wanted the white two door but it was out of stock. I did manage to order it recently when I saw it was back. This 18 inch I wanted as extra pantry storage in my kitchen, which will still happen once the double door cabinet is delivered and assembled. For now it’ll be holding the art supplies, which it does a great job.The only thing is it’s not wide enough for the space and the color is off.The pic shows it as more of an ashy gray color but the in person cabinet is more espresso with a hint of gray undertones. It won’t exactly match my “greige” (gray/beige) colored cabinets, but it’ll work out because the extra shelving is a need.As for the assembly of this baby.A lot of the negative reviews have to do with the damage upon delivery. For that you sadly need luck on your side.I thankfully had that with this one and the cabinet was in pristine condition, which was amazing because the flimsy pieces of styrofoam didn’t seem protective enough.I sat down almost right away and started assembly.Be aware, the larger pieces are HEAVY.I was able to lug them around but it’s probably safer to have a second person helping. The instructions are easy to read and follow and I’m a more visual person so the pictures helped. The reviews are correct about the hardware being flimsy and easy to strip.I at first tried using a Phillips screwdriver but eventually the screw would become impossible to turn and it ran the risk of stripping so I pulled out the power drill.Much easier and much faster and no stripping. The one area that frustrated me more than anything was the block of wood, or as I called it, block of wet cardboard.I made the mistake of using the power drill on it and the screw cut the block completely down the middle (see photo). That was done early on and I feared it was a foreshadowing of things to come. Thankfully it was the only piece that was destroyed.Handy dandy super glue put it back together but the small screws for the magnet were now worthless. I superglued the magnet on too.It was the strong glue so that thing wasn’t budging.I noticed there were others who had the same problem. Suggestion to the company; improve material! Please! Most of the work was easy to handle alone until I had to join the two heavy sides with the middle shelf.I recruited my son to hold onto one of the sides while I got to work attaching it all together.Later on I recruited my husband to help put the door on, another task that’s easier with someone else.Be aware. If you stand the cabinet up without attaching the back panel it will be wobbly.I made this mistake and freaked out thinking that the cabinet was assembled wrong and I’d have to start all over again. The back panel is the “glue” that holds it all together. So once you painstakingly screw in all the millions of little screws to the back, voila! It’s a stable piece of furniture that won’t wobble around like a noodle.Overall, I can see the frustration people have with this cabinet because the material quality isn’t there. It does look quality once assembled, so for me, it’s worth it and I will be assembling the larger version sometime soon and hopefully it’ll be in great shape and not too much of a pain. This 18 inch cabinet has already done its job tidying up the art supply mess that once was, and I’m sure it’ll work great as a kitchen pantry as well.I just wish it was more of a gray color.

Nice cabinet
Let me start out with one thing I didn’t like - one of the boards had a chip in it but there were stickers with this that was to cover up screws so I used one of those and you can’t really see the chip now.Lots of pieces to put together but the instructions were good and everything was well marked. Took about 45 minutes for two of us to put it together.I’m very pleased with how it looks. Was exactly what I expected.

Good enough for $150
It’s a cheap cabinet for storage.Issues:1. The packing styrofoam gets everywhere. While the cabinet only took an hour to put together….cleanup was another hour2. The cabinet is made of MDF so, structurally it molds to the floor. If you have an uneven floor it will shift to the lower side making your doors uneven. The cabinet doors won’t align unless the floor is semi-even no matter how many adjustments you make to the hinges.

Perfect for a pantry
The cabinet is very sturdy and stable even without the wall mount. It was difficult to get the doors on. The screws weren’t the best quality and it was hard to toghten them all the way. Once together though I really love the look and space!

AAAAA+
As long as you follow the instructions, it is pretty easy to assemble. Not that I've measured it, but the bottom cubby gives enough room to house 20+ books (and snacks in the very back too). The drawer is smaller than I am used to; however, is big enough to hold all the things I need it to. Over all, it is sturdy and exactly what needed, and am glad I bought two.

Born in a barn
This piece is a note worthy piece for the bedroom decor. Rich dark barnwood color. Drawers roll out nicely. A decent size on the small side. Perfect for our space. This is not a natural wood piece, it is plywood with a vinyl wood overlay.Over all the two pieces I ordered were easy to assemble on my own. One of the drawers you can see in the photos for some reason looks worn, I'm not sure why.Over all I really love our new side tables.
