How it works: ozone is a powerful oxidising agent. Ozone molecules attach to odorous molecules and oxidise them, accelerating the natural process of a smell 'wearing out'. Ozone decays to harmless oxygen. Ozone also kills bacteria, fungus and damages plant cells. This thing is a beast. Bought for removing cat urine smell, have since used to sterilise shoes and deodorise a car after some some squid juice leaked from bait (the worst smell imaginable). Ozone does leave a very strong chemical/swimming pool type smell for a while after use. Once this has dissipated, the original odour is actually gone, not just masked. Best protocol is to seal up a room/car as much as possible, run it for a while, then fully ventilate the space. You, pets and plants shouldn't be in the room when it is being used. It's powerful enough that it's hard to breathe in a room with it on.

Good bit of equipment kills odours

Works well and easy to operate. Great value for money. It eliminates smells, good functionality decent but quiality.

At first I thought it was just a gimmick, but then when I tried it the results were amazing! This little device worked a treat and cleanse the moulding odours from my clothes that were in all wardrobes. Always read the instructions and make sure to close the door and stay out until the timer goes off and leave it closed for another hour. I opened my door and then went to work. On returning I sniffed all clothing and to my amazement, the musty smells had vanished! I swear by this little machine and have carried out cleansing every room in the house! Open windows afterwards and experience a nice clean environment in your home.

I bought this to get rid of the smokey smell in the house before moving out. It did leave the smell of ozone for a few hours, but it was money well spent, and saved me hundreds of pounds!

After a lot of toggling the on button and playing with the timer, the fan on the back eventually started which told me it was working. After a while of leaving it on the 'on' position, the fan stopped. I have no idea how long it was running for or why it stopped, but now the fan won't start again. The instruction manual is uselessly poorly translated.

Very effective, cleared odor in no time at all

The product is small and light weight making it easier to carry ,it's simple and straightforward to use all you do is set the timer and switch it on It's does get rid of smoke and other bad odours like described but the quality isn't great as soon as I took in out of the box one of the screws dropped then another after taking it to the next room the little fan extractor is now loose due to this .
