Fills in the gap
The screen filled in the gap between the Rock Tamers and didn't interfere with the chains/cable. Seems to have worked since I don't see many gelcoat dings on a 2500 mile tow.

It's okay
They help to an extent. Drove the haul road in AK and it definitely couldn't keep up with that road. My truck's regens blasted right through Rock Tamer's "heat shield". If you're on any dirt roads for an extended period of time, the wash boards and bumps will definitely shake some of the hardware lose.

Works well, instructions are bad
Once this was installed it fit and worked great. Unfortunately, the installation instructions are terrible and impossible to follow. They're all text with no diagram to reference the parts. I had to just put it together via trial and error and it took way longer than it should have.
