Cole is the MMC and there are moments I love him and others I hate him. I love Travis and his relationship with Tessa. All the friendships are amazing as well.

This romance novel had so much angst. Through this novel my heart broke. I hate how Cole hides himself behind Tessa’s insecurities. Cole is the MMC and there are moments I love him and others I hate him. I love Travis and his relationship with Tessa. All the friendships are amazing as well.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great read but lots of drama...

I loved the first book in this series and I really enjoyed this one as well. I have to admit that I couldn't put this book down, but I definitely liked the first book better. There is A LOT of drama in this book which is understandable if it's further defining the characters' relationship, but a lot of the drama seemed unnecessary in their growth. There is so much of it by the end of the book it starts to get exhausting and a little ridiculous... almost to the point where I felt like telling the characters to just give up already, but in the end the story is just as engaging as the first and I'm glad I continued to read it. I'm surprised their story still isn't finished... the ending makes it obvious there is a third book and I'm interested to see what else the characters could possibly go through, but I hope there are some more positive moments in the next book because they are few and far between in this one. If you are looking for a warm and fuzzy romance, this isn't it, but if you are as invested in the love life of Cole and Tessa as I am, then it's a must read!
