Titanium BBQ Tongs Grill Tongs Tweezer Clip Multi Function for Kitchen Salad Steak Barbecue Buffet (Grey, 6.5)

I have some old bamboo tongs of similar size but I wanted something sturdier and fire resistant. I have a quite small barbecue and so that work there great. One cool feature is because of the bump on can put them down without the tip touching the table

I have tried two other types and brands of these style tongs for cooking, and the other are so thin that when you try to pick up something heavier than a prawn, they flex in the middle and you end up dropping your item. These will never do that. Better quality than the cheaper ones, and they will pick up a steak without the worry of dropping it! Purchased for camping/hiking for a cooking and eating utensil, to save on weight.

I often use chop sticks for cooking when tongs are too big/clumsy for the task at hand. When I saw these mini tongs (oversized tweezers really), I had to give them a try. It's a bit pricy, but they're made from Titanium, which isn't a cheap metal to buy or work with.They flex well, with a good springiness, but isn't too fatiguing on the grip. They grip the food nicely, I use these on small chunks of meat where I need good grip, but better control. Titanium is a luxury, but this form-factor for tongs is really useful if you cook a lot, and I highly recommend.

Great tongs for in the kitchen or camping. Nice spring, not too much tension. Pointed enough at the ends to easily grab stuff.

Size-wise and with a grab width of just under 2” (pic), these are good for things where you’re working with slices or bite sized pieces of food like yakiniku, Korean BBQ, hot pot/shabu shabu, or grilling smallish things like wings/sausages/shrimp. They wouldn’t be great for American style BBQ where you’re grabbing whole chunks of meat over a large grill. If you’re thinking about using these as culinary tweezers, they’re a bit clunky for that but can kinda work.The measured weight (61.6g, pic) is notably higher than the current listed weight (56g). In hand, it doesn’t feel super light like you’d expect from titanium.To nitpick, the edges could be finished a bit better. The flat sides appear to be bead blasted, but the edges look like they were roughly cut (pic). The corners aren’t particularly sharp, but could be rounded off more, at least at the grip points.

I like the minimalist style of these tongs for cooking in the kitchen. I use these for flipping my son's chicken nuggets in the oven, flipping french fries while frying, and when sauteing shrimp. I find this tool to be quite useful for the kitchen and use it more than the regular kitchen tongs. It's also helpful for removing food that falls into the grates of my gas stove while I'm cooking.

When I first got this, I didn’t really think it would be useful. Then I made a pizza in the air fryer with pita bread, and it was indispensable with placing ingredients while cooking.
