Panasonic Cordless Phone with Answering Machine, 2 Handsets Landline Phone

I bought this phone set to replace a Panasonic KX-TG5631 on which the display had failed. Many of the features of the new phone are similar to the old one. I especially like how any name and number you put into the directory using one handset gets automatically filled in on the other handset-- saves a lot of time. Highlights: - The display is bright and easy to read - Sound quality is great - Setup is easy - The answering machine is easy to use - The handsets are light and comfortably contoured for your hand - The batteries are rechargeable - The menu has many useful features If you enjoy using a landline phone, this is a great cordless dual-handset system with well-thought-out features and great sound quality.

I’m pretty impressed with this phones. The buttons are big and have a LOT of features. You can block spam calls, use as an intercom, connect via Bluetooth to up to 2 cell phones. I’m still figuring it all out. A more in-depth instruction booklet for all the features would be helpful. It took me a couple tries to figure out how to stop messages from playing at all the bases when people call and leave message. I eventually got it figured out and now it plays only at the main base, the way I like it but I can still retrieve messages from any phone. I also like that the battles are simply regular rechargeable batteries.

Good phones, sound is clear and easy to use and hold onto . I like the black. The display is lighted and the handsets have larger buttons. The answering machine works well: the only complaint with it is that the sound is lower when you play bay messages . I was able to connect the phones myself ( older woman) . Overall it's worth the price, I recommend this phone system.

Bought these phones to replace a previous similar Panasonic set that lasted 13 years and were finally giving me some trouble. One thing to note, their batteries lasted all that time without replacement. I like the convenience of these cordless phones as I'm not ready to give up my landline. If I get that time out of these that will be phenomenal. They are well built, easy to use and I like the speaker phone option. The range of use from the main unit is very good. I have walked at least 75 ft away and they still worked. Overall, a good deal.

I love Panasonic cordless phones! This is my 3rd or 4th set! I still have a landline and love that I can also tie in my cell phone to this system. They last me for years! This set even has aa batteries! Love that I control the answering machine myself!

The phones work great and have a lot of features. The range seems to be very good from what I can tell - my mom can walk all around her house and have no problems with sound/call quality. These are especially convenient for someone who wants to keep their landline, but not carry a device around with them all the time. The only negative (and it's a pretty big one) is that whoever designed the menu layout needs to be sent back to design school along with the person who approved it. It is absolutely terrible - everything is hard to get to and it is extremely clunky. Not intuitive at all and hard to navigate - especially for the likely target audience of older folks.

It’s astonishing these cordless phones are not much improved over the years. The older cordless Panasonics at least had more heft and did not so easily tip. My old Panasonic had about all the same features, i.e., the seemingly needless complicated way to program and same fuzzy background noise during conversations which was and is still annoying. On the upside, the screens are easier to read with the larger and more pixelated letters. I don't like the NiMH batteries used today which don't hold a charge long enough; but he good news is, if you never used the Nickel-Cadmium (NiCd) batteries [which I believe were banned due to environmental issues…leaking], you'll never know they held a charge like…forever. I asked Alexa if one could hit speaker or answer calls from this phone to keep it hands free and it answered ” Yes, it’s totally hands free!!”. Really, I knew better. Those functions would have to come from a base, not a handset and there is no word “Speaker” on the base. To use Speaker function, it must be after you lift the handset and press Speaker. .. duh The base does have the word ANSWER on it so I was hoping it meant “answer phone with this button Pam” but alas, it does not. It's for turning ANSWER off/on (I’m unsure why one would want to turn off answer?) Any way, since I really want a totally hands free phone and ole Alexa steered me wrong, (again, my fault cause deep down, I knew better); I'll return this cordless and get a cord-ed phone with an extra handset that will work exactly like this one only it WILL BE hands free. If you are not as determined as I for the hands free feature, this is a nice set and might be an excellent choice of cordless phones for you. Good luck.

el altavoz se oye bien pero me gustaría que tuviera un poco mas de volumen

The person who prepared this has no idea that the item is not intended for Australian customers due to the fact that the voltage is 120 volts and not 220 volts. Be mindful of it next time
