Let me first just say that this is a great knob, it looks great and works great. I have these newly on 8 doors in the house. The lack of a star is for this: I’m sensitive to sound, and by that I mean - I hear everything! It’s not that I’m bothered, but more so if, for instance, I was wanting to be stealthily locking and unlocking this knob with someone like me in the house (or during dead silence) - good luck. I really want to give this knob 4.5 stars, because I feel it’s great quality and an extremely good value at the price of $13 ish. A lot of y’all won’t care at all that you can hear the lock click into place when locking/unlocking it from the inside with the turn dial (not with the key), and so if you don’t, this is a worthy purchase! If you are more on the wanting to be sound-stealthy side, then you may want to weigh your options. I’m assuming quieter ones would be more expensive. Maybe it will be worth it to you, maybe it won’t. Most people don’t pay attention to stuff like this, but just incase. And, I did try adding some WD-40 to the turn dial and i to the key hole, but those aren’t the problem, they were already fine, it’s truly the mechanism on the inside that makes the sound. And it’s not that it’s egregiously loud, but it’s not silent - for the few of you who care. :)

installed these on my parent's bathroom since they're getting older and I'm worried they'll fall. These give them the privacy they can still have yet safety to still open the door in case of an emergency instead of breaking down the whole door. Highly recommend!

.super easy to install . It took me about 5 minutes. Great price great quality.

I changed out all the older brass door knobs in our house. These fit great and came adaptable for how the lock mechanism was cut in the door. Hoping for the price they will last.

Brushed nickel appearance, sturdy, stylish. That says it all!

They look really nice and are easy to install. They do scratch easy though. When screwing them into the door they scratched

DON"T ORDER!!!This is the 4th time we ordered and they screwed it up!!!! We wanted the colonial style-which is flat, they send the ball kind-that is round. A picture will say black and the add says brushed satin (chrome) coloured. Add says they will be Passage doorknobs (that don't lock) and they send us ones that lock!!!!!! soooooooo mad. Amazon even contacted them and told them the problems, they went off the air for a while, so we tried again and still NOT THE RIGHT ITEMS!!!
