... the words while performing the poses has been an amazing experience going deeper inside
Connecting yoga asana poses to nature and listening to the words while performing the poses has been an amazing experience going deeper inside. The words describe the poses in a way that encourages a deeper practice of yoga both on and off the mat. A must read for every Yogi!

What I find unique and appealing about Julie Dunlop’s book “Ocean of Yoga” is how she brings the heart of yoga into her book. Adding the limbs on the yoga path and Yoga’s sister Ayurveda.I find her way of writing to be concise and easy read. I love how she threads the theme of the book throughout. In my yoga classes I read her poems while students are holding the poses. It seems to help draw their senses inward. The students love the meditations from the book I read in class as well.I have been a yoga teacher for 30 years. I highly recommend Ocean of Yoga to my students and for anyone who has an interest in yoga.Thank you, Ms. Dunlop, for bringing this book into our yoga world.
