Easy up & easy down…with quality
I bought this golf driving net to replace a different brand I bought 3 months ago. The other brand was of similar size, but semi-circle in shape. The other net required me to assemble a 10ft + fiberglass pole that was divided into multiple 12-14” sections and connected with elastic bands…and thread this long pole thru the perimeter of the semi-circular net. Then, I connected the pole/net assembly to a triangular base that consisted of 9 pieces of metal tubing. Finally, I staked the old net in place, and in 15-20min I was in business. The old net’s internal poles started to crack and it didn’t hold its shape after 3 months of use and about 400-500 shots. After each range session, it took about 10-15 min to disable and put back in the bag. About 30 min of my time was spent assembling and disassembling the old net. (The brand of the old net was similar to the name of an ancient astronomer) Now for the new GoSports net… The GoSports net is 100 times better. - it goes together in about 5 minutes - the base consists of 5 steel tubes that are snapped together and covered with, what seems to be, a durable powder coating. 5 pieces of tubing are much sturdier than 9. - the 2 vertical end poles are much thicker and each only consists of 2 pieces. The end poles are 2-3 times thicker than the multiple piece sectioned frame of the old net. - The net attaches to the frame/pole assembly in no time. - this new net anchors to the ground very easily. - I didn’t use the enclosed target that came with the new net. I actually used the larger target that came with my old net (the only part of the old net that was of high quality) - the GoSports net disassembles as quickly as it goes together. - the GoSports net DOES fit in its zipper bag. Those who say that it doesn’t don’t know how to pack anything away. So far, the GoSports net has seen 200+ shots and there has been no wear on the net. It probably helps having the 2’ x 3’ hanging target from my old net hanging from the GoSports netting. Although, the GoSports netting does look very robust. Very high quality. The old net I had took 30min out of my practice time to set it up then put it away - the GoSports net takes me less than 10min total time to set up and take down. That’s 20 more minutes to practice. 1200-1300 balls later… The GoSports net is still going strong. No rips in the netting and no cracking in the fiberglass poles. The GoSports net is still performing like new!! I have my setup time down to under 3 min and my disassembly time is around 3-4 minutes (takes a bit longer to fold the net and pack everything in the bag. The bag is still holding up with zipper intact after 6 weeks of setting it up and taking it down. No issues. 15,000-20,000 shots later (about 2 yrs of use, approx 25 days per month, approx 75 shots per day, 5-6 months each year)… -the net is still holding up strong. No tears in the net (105-110mph ball speed with 7 iron & 135-140mph ball speed with driver — I am not a long hitter). I do still have the 2ft X 3ft target hanging to help absorb some energy from the ball. No major rust on any of the metal tubing sections & the welds at the corners are still holding up. The Velcro on the sides of the net is a little less grippy, but still holts the net to the side support poles. No rips or tears in the bag yet and the zipper is still holding up fine. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 So far, after 2 yrs, the net has been a great value. Now on to a 3rd season. 😀

Went All-In on GoSports Products!
I purchased this net along with 2 hitting mats, practice balls, and more - all GoSports brand products. I did not really need a net, but since I was splurging on the hitting mats, I decided to go for the net as well, so that it would give me the option of having something to hit into in the wintertime. I was slightly prejudiced towards the GoSports net over other brands because I was ordering their brand of hitting mats, but after comparing this product to other nets available on Amazon, it seemed like this net would hold up well enough based on the ratings. It was not the cheapest net available on Amazon, but my hopes were that it was going to be high quality and hold up well. I ended up purchasing a Used one from Amazon Warehouse to save a few bucks. The package definitely arrived damaged and one of the legs was sticking out the side of the box. Upon opening it, the metal feet did appear to be scratched on the bottom as if it were drug across concrete, but the net was still in the original packaging, so I'm not sure what the deal was. Regardless, everything was there, and assembled very quick and easy. The netting material is soft (probably cotton/poly), but it does perfectly fine stopping the few real golf balls hit into it with full swings from irons up to driver. I have mostly hit the GoSports hard shell foam practice golf balls into this net though because I do not want to damage it or wear it down with real golf balls. I decided to go ahead and order the ~$20 add-on net that is clips on to the front of the net for added protection. I just received the add-on netting today and it easily just clips on to the top loops of this net and can be adjusted. The add-on net is made of a different material than the regular netting and is like a synthetic/plastic netting. That netting seems heavier duty, and will hopefully help prevent the soft regular netting from getting holes; my only concern is that it is a rougher feel and I just hope it does not wear down the softer netting as the two rub together when a ball impacts them as that would defeat the purpose of the added protection. Only time will tell on that though. But now that I have the add-on net installed, I will feel free to swing away with regular balls hit into this net. (The attached picture does not show the add-on netting) I remember seeing reviews about the netting leaving black marks on balls. I can attest that it did mark up the hard shell foam practice balls that I was hitting into the net. The few real golf balls that I hit into the net at full power did not show any markings however. The add-on net has yet to be tested, so I cannot say whether or not that also marks up the balls. Overall, I am please with the purchase of this net. I hope it holds up well and lasts a long time for our family to use. I am also please with all of the other GoSports products I purchased. So far everything seems to be good quality and value. I've left reviews on the other products with the same headline and picture if you are looking for my take on those products as well.

Great practice net for golf. Durable and user friendly.
I've had this for several years now and it has held up great. I have put a lot of miles on it too, because I use it in my backyard during the off season or when I can't get to the range/course. It's easy to put together and take apart once you've done it a couple times and know what you're doing. It takes me less than 2 minutes to assemble and disassemble. It's BIG too which is nice because I haven't missed it with a golf ball yet. It will catch even the most poorly struck shanks, duffs, chili dips, topped, fatties, you can't miss the net which is great for confidence as I can just swing away and not have to worry about scorching a golf ball through the neighborhood (and great for by standers and property). I would recommend to any golf enthusiast who can't anyways hit the range. Definitely worth the money as it's held up well and has taken a beating. Also, you had hit every club in the bag into it. I hit fill drives no problem (just scoot a little closer with wedges as you might be able to get it over the top if you hit lob shots from too far away). It doesn't take up a lot of space either as it all fits nicely into the provided storage bag. LOVE IT.

Great golf net, but wish replacement parts were available
I’ve had this golf net for about 18 months and it’s been great overall. The frame is still solid and has held up really well. Recently, though, the netting developed a hole. I am trying to reach out to see if I could purchase just a replacement net (since the frame is fine), but it doesn’t look like that’s an option?? It would be fantastic if the seller/manufacturer offered replacement nets separately — I’d happily pay for just the netting rather than buying a whole new setup. Otherwise, this has been a reliable product and I’ve enjoyed using it.

Great for the back yard
Love this net! I’m just starting my golf journey at 35 years old so I have a lot of swings to make up for. Buying used balls and setting this up in the back yard with a mat has saved me so much time and money by not having to go to the range. The target portion of the net makes it super easy to reload the ball bucket as well.

Want to hit REAL golf balls with ANY club in your bag?
As much as I would love to have a professional driving range / simulator setup, lets face it, I am a regular joe, with four kids, two jobs, a house payment....you get it. I wanted to get something that could stand up to real golf balls being fired from a pitching wedge for warm-ups, to my driver, along with every other club in my bag. I figured I would take a chance on spending the money to purchase the highest level net GoSports offers. The term "exceeds expectations" is an understatement in this case. The net has two parts: the outside part of the net is an average duty netting, that would be good for most shots, but would not hold up to years of 300 yard type drives, and is intended to capture any errant shots. The center portion is a heavy duty netting, capable of handling anything you could send its way, for years. The frame is SOLID! Setup is a breeze (5 minutes tops). My plan is to put together a video showing the setup process and another showing assembly. The company, GoSports, also exceeded my expectations. When my net arrived, I noticed some of the stitching in the central portion was slightly frayed, but was still more than able to stop any real golf ball from any club in my bag. In a way, it had the look of a net that had been used and returned after a year (except it was not discolored and smelled new). I sent pictures to GoSport via their webpage, with the only intention being to let them know that they may want to tighten up the quality control. My review here would have reflected that QC (4 vs 5 star). I was contacted within a day by Kaley from GoSport and she stayed in constant contact through the process I am describing next. Without any insinuation from me, Kaley apologized profusely, and let me know that a replacement net would be ordered and shipped to me immediately. I was taken aback, as I had not intended or suggested that a replacement was the only acceptable solution. Because of the shipping situation affecting everything these days, it took (EXACTLY) two months (Sept. 30 to today, Nov. 30) to get the new net. During the entire time, Kaley stayed in touch, letting me know the latest information on where things stood. If you are looking for a heavy duty driving net, that will not break the bank, from a company that stands behind their product, do not even take time to think about it, order this setup today! Happy golf ball whacking!

Great for Shorter Clubs - Will NOT Stand Up to Strikes From Long Woods
This net is great for iron practice, but it does not hold up to longer clubs. I bought the net on June 19, 2025 and received it on June 22nd. I used it 3-4 times over the first week, and I disassembled it and stored it in its bag between uses each time. The first few times I used it, I never swung anything larger than a 3 Hybrid. The net was great during these practices. The last time I used it (June 30th), I decided to hit the 3-wood and driver. Within 8-10 swings, I watched a ball go straight through the net and (luckily) into the empty wooded area behind my house. Granted, the shot wasn't great and didn't go into the large pocket part of the net, but I still would have expected the net to hold up. The net is very easy to set up, and I like the overall style of it. The frame is well built and seems sturdy enough. I can see the need for the stakes if you're in a high wind area, but regular golf ball strikes don't knock the net over, not even close. If the net were a little stronger and could handle ball strikes from all of my clubs, I would rate this net 5 stars, but the inability to hit the woods into it mean it's not going to be great for a lot of people. Full disclosure - I placed a replacement order for the same product because it is definitely good for practicing MOST of the clubs in my bag.

A hole after three days of light use but GoSports aknowledged defect and sent replacement
Already a hole after three days of light indoor use with a 6 and 7 iron. The seam between the heavier nets in the middle is all frayed already and at least in one spot it has separated so a ball can get through. GoSports replaced the item easily and quickly. I'll update this review with results of using the replacement once arrived.
