Room Copenhagen Lego Lunch Box, 7.8” x 3.9” x 2.9”, Dark Green

I bought these for my oil paints since a cardboard box wasn't going to cut it, but let's be serious about this size. No reviewer is underestimating their measurements, You're getting a good 2 1/4" x 7 3/4" of usable space. And set aside space, I don't understand how anyone could use this as a lunch box; it doesn't clasp shut! If you hold it upside down, the top slides off! Now if you want to give your little one packaged snacks in their playroom fine, but if you put this in their book bag and they hold it the wrong way, everything is going to fall out.Now, I would definitely buy this again - for storage at my desk. I might buy another for my pens or paint brushes. It looks adorable, it's a nice red and it's well made. Legos just make me smile.

In terms of design, this product is super basic - but super cool. It's great for kids (as well as the lego lovers who may find themselves at a later stage in life).As other reviewers have mentioned, I did find the box to be a bit small. I did expect this as the dimensions are listed, however I do believe this merits repeating just so you don't find yourself completely disappointed. If your lunch is snack sized (perhaps a small water bottle, a yogurt, a piece of fruit, and a small bag of nuts) then you should be good. If you like to pack a sandwhich, bag of chips, and a coke, then you may have a few issues getting things to fit without some smushing/crunching.All in all, it's a great product. 5/5 for design - 4/5 for functionality.

Wanted a piggy bank for a kid who will mainly be getting dollars and didn't feel like fishing dozens of folded/wadded up bills out of your typical quarter-sized piggy bank hole once a month. It fits a dollar with room to spare on all sides, and looks super cute up on a shelf or desk.

I bought this to use as a storage container for my sons small legos. A little smaller than I expected but I love the color and size. It has the lego logo. At first I was wondering why it was being sold as a lunch box. But I could see how it could used for one. Perfect size to fit into a backpack. I would purchase this again.

We got this lunch box along with a bottle for our Lego crazed boy, and we were initially very happy about them. Unfortunately, these items did not prove to be durable. They pretty quickly started to look banged up, the head of the bottle broke after only 2 months of use and the lunch box cracked 4 months in. To be fair, our son is not gentle with them, but hey, which 6-year-old is? We definitely expected more from a Lego product, that is why one is willing to pay the steeper than average price. We are disappointed and will not buy Lego branded products other than building sets in the future.

I do love these lego boxes and both my boys have several of them and will probably need several more. I just wish they were a little cheaper. Like $20 instead of 40. Other than that, i love them! They are beautiful, bright colored and good quality.

This is badly labeled. It's tiny. Not good for keeping much in it. Some people think it a lunch box, good luck getting a sandwich in it. Much less a kids lunch.

Purchased to use in my son's lunch box and while its very cute and well made, it doesn't function well. The size is odd, too narrow for a sandwich but too wide to fit much else besides the container in his lunch box. The container also doesn't seal or have any type of latch so I have to add a band to keep everything from spilling out in his lunch case. I have several bento type boxes and they work much better.

Dopo il quarto porta merenda tornato rotto da scuola, ho deciso di cambiare.Sono andata alla categoria Amazon Warehouse Deal (che guardo almeno ogni settimana per scoprire/scovare eventuali nuovi prodotti in occasione) e mi sono imbattuta in questo prodotto, a poco meno di 8€!!Non ho potuto resistere e ho fatto bene: bello, originale, robusto, di dimensioni giuste! Ormai lo abbiamo da quasi due anni, 2 anni scolastici pieni, in cui questo "mattoncino" :-) è stato usato quasi ogni giorno! Altro che "crash test" ;-)!!!C'entra perfetta la merenda preferita di mio figlio: panino e succo! Si lava facilmente con acqua e sapone per stoviglie e via, sempre pronto all'uso.Unica cosa da segnalare: quando l'ho acquistato mio figlio aveva 5 anni e, inizialmente, non aveva proprio ben capito il meccanismo per l'apertura (che è facile, basta tirare su la parte alta del porta merenda): di fatto, quel che accadeva, è che con la sua manina piccola :-), aveva qualche difficoltà ad afferrare bene il sopra del porta merenda per fare forza e tirarlo su...ha dovuto capire come sfruttare al meglio la presa per portare su il tappo...ma sono bastate poche ore e ha trovato il modo.Ora lo stiamo portando anche al campo estivo! Quindi resistenza ulteriormente messa alla prova ;-).Non posso aggiungere altro se non che lo stra-consiglio davvero! Il costo normalmente è più alto ma, magari, basta aspettare l'offerta giusta ;-). Ah! Inserisco qualche foto fatte oggi: dopo mesi e mesi, eccolo qui, praticamente integro. Spero sia di aiuto per poter valutare meglio un eventuale acquisto Ciao!

The box itself is a lot smaller, fitting a sandwich is difficult without squashing, and not much else would fit. The lid is also very tricky for a young child to remove. Wouldn’t recommend for school lunches; probably better suited for very small snacks.
