Cross Sheaffer Skrip Fountain Pen Ink Cartridges Blue - Pack of Five (96320)

These Work in the old Schaeffer pens. These ink cartridges are hard to find. These are a little too big in diameter compared to the orginal ones. They will go in the pens, but fit very tight. You can use a stiff piece of wire, or paper clip to get them out. Unfortunately, this size is all that is available. Schaeffer has not done a good job on quality control with these, or they would fit properly. The key is: they work and all that is available for these old pens.

This seller is international--a fact I didn't pay attention to when I ordered these items. To my delight, the cartridges arrived way ahead of time from England and were exactly what I wanted, and the price was right, as I can't find liquid-ink cartridges just anywhere these days. I am impressed with this timely service.

They came the next day as promised and fit the my Shaeffer pens.

I use this ink only in my calligraphy pens. Have always been pleased with their performance.

Great pen for the price, I have bought two, but the cap doesn't stay on the other end when I write. It keeps falling off, and sadly, I lost the cap to one of the pens. I often write "in the field" so having a cap that stays on is important to me. For this reason alone, I'll try another pen next time. No complaints at all about how it writes.

The admin paper wonk world used to revolve around "sign it in black ink." It was shoved at us as a dictum. Well, they soon learned that you couldn't tell a copy from the original. We Tradionalists never swayed- ever signing in blue using quality Papermate pens. They fumed and fussed. We, "blue inked" on. Well, the world changes and now the paper wonkers want originals signed in blue ink. Well well. And we, dear reader, the vanguard have moved from ball point blue to Sheaffer blue fountain pens for those official signings. We live by the motto: "When in front, don't look backwards. They may be gaining."

Fits my "old" Sheaffer fountain pen perfectly. Love writing with this kind of pen!
