Worked on Leather
Used for an old leather sofa that was ripping at seams. It works well so far.

Quick and Solid
Used this to attach felt patches to a khaki hat. It was quick drying and it survived 3 rounds of dragon boat paddling. Highly recommend.

Very thin and runny
Do not use this without some spill protection underneath the item you are gluing. Very easy to get too much. If it seeps through to visible front of fabric it is not clear but absolutely shows if anything other than small smear is used which is hard to do as it comes out so freely. So would never use to hem a Colton, poly, silk or linen item as you will likely get show through. The only way I think you'd have enough control to apply it is with the foam tipped brush included, but would try on an unseen area or on a scrap of similar fabric. Would work best on denim like fixing a pocket coming loose. It says 10 second adhesion but did not find that to be the case. I had to clamp fabric together with piece I was gluing. Once set, it says 24h for complete adhesion, it does seem secure then. I have not tried washing yet but this seems similar to another I have tried that held up well. My favorite part is if you get it on a glass or granite type surface including your fingers and nails it rubs rolls off completely so no mess left on fingers or non porous surfaces.

Well?
Im not adept at sewing, but wanted to repair a glued outside seam in a pair of spandex swimming trunks. So first its a bit too thick to squeeze out through the tube and i used in the applicator (quite innovating the rubber "painter") and of course the stupid bottle got knocked over and boy does that goop go everywhere. The project was so lucky it fell over again. So two rags consumed with rubber goo I got the seam in sort of a crinkled meld. Looks terrible I did a very lousy job with the painter. So complete mess and waste of time. Ill come back and make a nice comment later if the glue actuially sticks (which ahem, looks questionable.)Conclusion: For interior seams only where its invisible unless its thick canvas. No way with stretch y material could I get a nice looking seam.Complaint: Seemed stale, didnt stick well to much of anything (thankfully because since I had the top off the goo exploded everywhere.Self Reflections: When will I start to acknowledget that glue and double sided sticky tape really doesnt work.

Didn't Work for Me
I bought this with the hope that I could repair my Halo headbands. These have a rubber strip glued to them to keep the sweat from running into your eyes. On some of mine, the rubber is separating from the fabric, and I bought this with the hopes of repairing them. It didn't work. On to the next idea.

Very Nice Alternative to Sewing
I'm excited by all the ways I can use this fabric glue. I don't like getting the sewing machine out to make small repairs like a hem coming loose. To sew by hand is hard for me as my eyesight makes it difficult to thread a needle. The first thing I tried it on was a shirt that aggravated me because the facing kept flapping out as it was never stitched down. I used the glue to fix the facing in place and I'm happy with this shirt for the first time. Some tips for when you first start. First, remove the foil seal and the cardboard topper so the glue can flow out the hole. For me, it came out a bit too fluidly, so I switched to using the painting-it-on method with the small paddle that came with the kit. After the first attempt, I applied it more sparingly so the excess glue would not seep through the fabric. You want just enough to stick the two pieces of fabric together. Do not saturate the fabric. It's best to put a plastic bag or something under the fabric in case the glue comes through to your counter or table. Have a piece of scrap paper handy to rest the paddle applicator on. Wash the applicator off with water when you finish.I'm going to use this for some too-big doll outfits that I want to take in the seams and shorten the hem. I'll even give it a try for assembling a raincoat for the doll. Maybe I can make her some shoes too or boots with this fabric adhesive. Before the doll clothes project, I'm getting out my neglected mending and will fix up all the clothes stashed in there.
