Better than expected. These kind of "too good to be true" things are risky, so I always expect an 80% chance of an unforeseen problem, quality issue, materials issue.... something. But this seems great! This knife rounds out a 4-knife display rack of pretty wood-handled knives for me. The wood handle is pretty enough to display with the other purposefully mismatched yet useful variety of kitchen knives. The blade (not yet used it though) seems sharply serrated and is not wimpy-spindly-cheap, yet it's appropriately thin for use on things like bread and tomatoes. I have no idea how they produce this item for the price they charge. Amazing! NOT disappointed.

The knife is beautiful and it is sharp and very well made

It has been over four months and these knives are the same as when I received them. There are no knicks and the blades are still sharp. It cuts meats and vegetables smoothly without any hesitations. All can be used for meats. They are a beautiful set. The handle is large and easy to hold making cutting fun and easy. I do not use the dishwasher to wash my knives but it's easy to clean with soapy water. I do not have any specks of rust. It was for a gift but I think I am keeping these.

This handles will and cuts great. I like the colors too.

These are working great, the knives are comfortable. They arrived sharp and are holding their edge very well. They are good enough quality steel bones are not chipping them. Overall these are a good set.

You can spend a lot more on knives that aren't this sharp or that hold up as well as these have. I have been using them for a couple of months now, and they still slide right through meats and veggies. The bread knife is really nice, making clean slices with no tearing of the bread.I hand wash these, and maybe that's why the knives are holding up well. I would recommend hand washing.The knives are comfortable to hold and use. I am very pleased and believe these would make a great gift.

I'm not a chef but I like to pretend I am since I prepare all of family's meals. A good knife is the basic foundation of every meal. Working with inferior products cost so much time and typically delivers an inferior product. These knives are absolutely wonderful. If I need to slice tomatoes or onions very thin no problem. Chopping up holy trinity vegetables which consist of onions, bell peppers and celery was a breeze. I reach for this one all the time, in fact I've thrown away all of my other knives. Don't waste your money on those knives that come in the block. All you truly need is this knife set and a set of steak knives.

These are absolutely gorgeous, ESPECIALLY for the price. They come in an impressive gift box and each knife is well protected. They look much more expensive than they are.

I gave it as a gift and he absolutely loved it.
