I was really skeptical about this after using an Exped. They're just too expensive. This feels nearly identical and a fraction of the price. It self inflated to a very soft firmness in about 10 minutes. I used 1.5 bags of air to bring it up to my preferred firmness. We used them for 5 nights of camping so far and they worked out great for comfort and to keep up warm. So far it seems like it holds air. They're a bit heavy, so definitely meant for car camping, so so much more convenient and smaller than a foam mattress pad. Two singles can be attached side by side with a fitted queen sheet. There's no noise or sliding around when you move and the edges are fairly square, so it feels like a real mattress. No rolling off.

I purchased this foam over air self-inflating mattress as a replacement for the mattresses in my ikamper Mini 3.0. The dimensions of the mattress are a perfect fit. There is a small gap on the edges to accommodate the struts and mattress goes end to end leaving no space at all. Although it comes in it rolls up like a sleeping bag i actually deflate it and leave it in my RTT without any issues. Setting up is super easy, just open the valves halfway, then after about 5 mins set them to inflate setting. almost a set it and forget it. IF you need to add any air to adjust firmness, using the provided bag super easy. Just trap some air, attach to valve and squeeze in slowly. I find that adding almost one bag full of air is perfect. The Mattress is super comfortable. I can sleep on my back, stomach or side and not feel it in the morning. Break down is just as easy. set the valves to deflate position and start folding and squeezing the air out. It takes about 10 mins to get it all nice and thin for packing but definitely worth the time. I do have a couple personal gripes with his mattress. Firstly, if you do not screw the cap on the valves once deflated it WILL self-inflate slowly over time so make sure to screw the plastic caps on when finished deflating. second and final grip is that you definitely need a sheet or sleeping bag or something between you and the mattress. if you do not use something every time you turn or move it will make noises that sound lie tires slipping on slick rocks. Customer service is amazing. ACOTHOT reached out to me well before I ever used the mattress to make sure everything was good. They also made it clear that if I have any issues at all to not hesitate to reach out to them. For the price of this mattress, I would definitely recommend picking this up if you do any camping at all or if you have a RTT and can't stand the stock mattress.

I just used this for over a week camping at the EAA Airventure event. It’s very comfortable and sturdy. Takes a little time to expand and then you have to make sure to pump some extra air in to firm up. After that it stayed perfect all week. It does take quite a bit of effort to roll it compact enough to pack up but I’m not taking away any stars for that due to how comfy it was to sleep on.

Great product! Very comfortable. We + our dog slept on it for 2 days straight and it hold its shape. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because inflating and deflating are difficult. My husband and I have to work together to deflate all the air out of it and roll it up small enough.

Camped several times with this. Very comfy. Easy to set up. Pain to roll up. Little on the pricy side. Liked the R-value and comfort. Best for car-camping because it’s way too heavy to hike with and rolls up very large. The stuff sack ripped when I was trying to push it in so be careful. I was using too much force. Best of luck. Worked great a couple times. We really liked it. Third trip we used it on the first night and it was great. Second night it popped, or something. During the night It deflated, we tried to reinflate but it wouldn't hold air. Next day we flipped it over and the material had split about 6 inches. It looked like it had been cut but there was absolutely nothing on the tent floor to do that. Nor did anything poke through the tarp under the tent and into the tent floor. Its really weird.

I just got this for our five day camping trip, we were sleeping on Klymits and they just weren’t cutting it. This mattress is so comfortable and well insulated, it feels like the expensive mattress we have at home. I preferred it softer, so only added a little air to make it more firm after letting it self inflate. It does take time to roll up being that you have to roll it four times to fit it back into its bag but it’s totally worth it for a good night’s sleep. Best car camping investment I’ve ever made!

Update** it was great, but now it is no longer holding air after 2nd use.My son & I used this pad on a cub scout trip. It was 27 degrees over night. We stayed warm and it was super comfortable. Does not pack small, but great for car camping. We will start using this instead of an air mattress in all occasions indoor & outdoor. Love the bag use for topping off the air. Self inflate worked great. Does not self inflate great out of the bag, but worked great 2nd time and all others after.
