I've had no problems with this AC Unit!

Edit: After using this unit for a few months, my only complaint as far as operation goes, is the thermostat is not calibrated. I have 2 thermometers in the room with the A/C. One of which is on top of the unit, the other one is across the room. There is about a 4-5 degree difference in what the room temperature actually is compared to what the A/C is set at according to both thermometers. If the A/C is set at 76 degrees the room can get up to about 80-81 degrees before the unit turns on. My previous review still stands true.This unit is great. It cools like a champ. I have it upstairs cooling two hot bedrooms (~265 sq ft). It does a great job. I really like that the fan doesn't run 24/7 like a lot of units do. The window kit hose could be better quality, but it works as it should.

For its price i must say this portable AC is impressive. It really cools up a big space, i have mine in a living room but since i have an open concept house it also cools up the kitchen and dining area. Unbelievable really great product. The only downside is, it condensates really quickly. Overall a good product.

I have a 17 x 15 room I was trying to get cool and while it did work if left on all day on 67 with outside temps not more than 80, I feel that it should have been able to cool the space better. It's an affordable piece and if used in a smaller space it would have been good but it didn't cool as expected. The size is convenient for using in small spaces. The noise was... audible but not bothersome. Easy set up that cane with everything needed to just plug and play.

I bought this because even though we have central air, it's a very old system and has a very difficult time cooling down the upstairs of the house. What I like about this is it's pretty quiet and definitely cools down our room upstairs. It's a pretty large room too. The machine itself does not take up a lot of room. I hooked up the continuous drainage to a large sized mason jar and I only had to empty once during the day. The slats for the window didn't fit because of the size of the window but I just used the adapter, closed the window on top of it and used some plastic film that we put on the windows during the winter. What I don't like is how large the exhaust tube is but can't have everything, right? Overall, I would highly recommend. Definitely worth it.

I ordered in March so the return window is closed. I am using the unit for the 2nd time and there's a rattle noise coming from theback of the unit. I followed the trouble shooting steps and it's still rattling. It woke me and my husband up all night last night, and probably again tonight. Pretty disappointed.
