I have run these for years in my RV and they work killer! Here's some more in-depth thoughts:Pros:- These work better than I had expected. Just hook them up to the water source, hook your hose to it, run it to your trailer and viola` clean and good tasting water. Some of the places we have visited have had water that I wouldn't feed to my worst enemy. With this thing attached, it's very good tasting.- I like the hose attachment that comes with this to aide in adding flexibility to the system and not put too much strain on the system. I have bought so many of these, I now use one attaching the filter to the nozzle, one out of the filter to my hose, and one attaching my hose to the trailer.Notes:- I will note that the manufacturer suggesting using these for only 1 camping season, and this makes sense. That's what I do, and it seems to work out great. It's not too much $ to replace every season.- Another note, when first putting this filter into service (just the first time of the season, subsequent hook-ups wont do this) there will be a bunch of carbon (black in the water) that comes out of the faucet in your trailer. This is perfectly fine, safe, and of no issue. This is the filter breaking in and getting the extra carbon out of the system. There is no health concern with this happening. I just run the faucet until it clears up, and then we're good to go for the rest of the season.- Last note, when we unhook from our camping spot, I swing the filter in my hand with my arm extended (using centrifugal force, not centrifical, look it up) to get the residual water out of the filter so it doesn't sit in there and spoil. I do this until I get most of the water drops to stop, leave it out on the counter to dry, and boom, it's perfect the next time.Cons:- None to reportOverall this filter does a great job taking care of some seriously nasty campground water that we've encountered all over the Southwest US. Bought this for filling up our sailboat water tanks at a marina. It is so easy to use and just helps with peace of mind. Small enough to keep in a gallon ziplock until you need it again. Worth the price! A must have!

As someone who values clean filtered water for both my pool and quick outdoor showers, this filter has become handy. Setup is very easy. The biggest benefit is the efficient filtration system to ensure that the water I use is clean and safe. It is perfect for outdoor use whether filling up the pool or rinsing off after a swim. I haven’t tried it for camping but it works for my needs perfectly. No leakage so far. Seems quality.

I use this filter to fill up my pool. It filters out a lot of the water that would create issues for me when trying to balance the water composition for safe swimming and accidental intake of water. Works well

Picked this up for a recent trip in our motor home. Very easy to install, although might need more than finger tightening when connecting to your domestic water hose. Hubby had to use a wrench to really tighten it up to stop leaking. Be sure and follow the instructions to run water through it the first time before connecting. The great thing is that the water tasted great - very pleased with this reasonably priced filter.

This RV water filter has been a great addition to our travels! It effectively removes impurities, improving the taste and quality of the water we use for drinking, cooking, and even showering. Installation was straightforward, and the compact design fits perfectly with our setup.The water flow is strong, which is a nice bonus compared to other filters we’ve tried. It did leak slightly until we really tightened up the connection; something to keep a eye on.Overall, it’s a reliable and efficient product that I would definitely recommend to other RVers. We replace this every spring on our trailer as we are on well water. It filters out all the sediment and taste. Only downside is it's a little on the pricey side.
