Great option
Love this! We use this for occasional dishes and it works well. It does stain easily but I do not mind. I haven't tried sanding it yet.

Stained after first use
I was excited to try this product as I was tired of my folded towel drying system. The size and look are aesthetically pleasing, however it stained after the first use. I am disappointed in the product and will be going back to my towel system.

Nice drying stone
This drying stone looks nice and decorative and is holding up well (I've only had it for a couple months). Only complaint I do have is that something must have spilled on it and it's impossible to get the discoloration out but other than that this is a great value.

Great dish drying mat!
I recently purchased this dish drying mat made of diatomaceous earth and I am extremely impressed with its performance. This mat is not only eco-friendly, but it is also highly functional.First, I appreciate that this mat is made of diatomaceous earth, a natural material that is sustainable and renewable. It is a great alternative to traditional dish drying mats that are often made of plastic or synthetic materials. The mat is also very lightweight and easy to clean, which makes it a convenient addition to my kitchen. But what really sets this mat apart is its ability to absorb moisture quickly and effectively. The diatomaceous earth material is highly absorbent, which means that my dishes dry faster and more thoroughly than they would on a traditional dish towel or mat. I also love that the mat is non-slip, so I don't have to worry about my dishes sliding around or falling off the counter.Overall, I highly recommend this diatomaceous earth dish drying mat to anyone who is looking for a functional, eco-friendly, and stylish addition to their kitchen. It is a great investment that will last for years to come.

Love how it functions, dislike how it stains
The fast drying is great! But it stains so easily, I have toddlers and they simply set down raspberries on it and this was the outcome. I could not get the stains off and there were water stains the first time I used it. Not super thrilled with it

Looks so much better than a towel on my counter
This drying board looks so much better on my kitchen counter than the soggy dish towel I had. I can leave this out all the time! It's made of diatomaceous earth so it looks like stone. It's very porous though and absorbs water. I find my dishes dry super fast on it.You have to be careful not to put anything that might stain on it. I make sure to only use it for drying clean dishes and don't put dirty dishes on it. It does come with a little round disc of sandpaper so you can sand off stains if needed.I like that it has little rubber feet on the bottom so it doesn't slide. It also allows air to get under the board which is something my dish towel definitely couldn't do.

Stained immediately.
I read the reviews that said this stained quickly and shouldn’t have bought it but thought I’d give it a try. It literately stained within 12 hours and the sand paper did nothing. Even so, I love the concept, it looks so much better than a drying towel, and honestly would buy this again if it was black. So my advise? Buy it - but not in white.

It stains way to easy and then looks messy
It does absorb water really great! BUT it is so sensitive to anything you put on it. It stains so easy. They give you sand paper and say to sand off the stains, but it doesn't work! It looks dirty all the time, I hate it! Wish could send it back!!
