We use them for coffee. They're a perfect size for a cappuccino, sturdy and stylish. Nice color assortment.

I thought that this handbag mug, saucer and spoon set would be a novel gift idea for my 19-year-old granddaughter who loves her handbags and probably has enough of them to open her own shop!This mug design is very similar to her favourite handbag as well, so I felt sure that she would like it.Unfortunately, the gift box containing this set arrived rather worse for wear and I was surprised to find the mug placed loosely inside the box. I am amazed that it made it to me in one piece. The mug is also wrapped in bubble wrap, which I don’t think makes it very presentable as a gift.The mug and the tray are nicely hand-painted with a lovely metallic gold trim, but this does mean that the mug is not suitable for using in the microwave. The shape of the mug also makes it difficult to drink out of without spilling any of the contents, so I personally think that the mug is better served as a container for pens/make-up brushes etc. and the saucer can be used as a trinket tray. There aren’t any rubber feet or felt pads on the base of the saucer/tray, so you do need to be mindful about placing the ceramic material on a surface that could easily scratch. The spoon is a lot smaller size than my regular teaspoons and I don’t think it is really intended be used as a teaspoon because the scoop on the end is quite flat.I do feel that the current price of £18.99 seems a little expensive because the presentation box isn’t great and makes it look like a much cheaper item, as does the bubble wrap. The mug is not a good design for drinking out of either.I do, however, appreciate the quality of the hand-painted elements and the lovely design, which makes this a pretty ornamental item.
