Strong Souls Mens Cosy Slipper Socks

Having previously purchased the Grey/Red striped pair, and finding them to be exactly what I was expecting, this alternative design (navy) are far from being similar, most notably the comfort level does not compare, almost to the point of finding them uncomfortable, maybe a smaller foot would find them more agreeable(!?), but that's my personal finding (BTW, I'm a UK 9)...if buying again, I'd go for another pair of the grey/red striped option rather than the navy ones.

Pricey but needed extra large for bigger feet. Cosy and snuggly with no heel definition so versatile in sizing.Bought as gift and they were much appreciated.

These are extremely comfortable, and great for these winter nights. Only thing is is that I was expecting a red and white striped set, but they are actually red and dark grey striped. that's the only difference, otherwise I'm very happy with them.

Cheap, warm, comfortable, loose fitting, slip off as you walk, fine for sitting down but wouldn't recommend for wandering around on tiles.

Cold feet sufferer here, so thought I'd post a review for any fellow sufferers who thinks these might be worth a go.First thing to note is that these are BIG socks. If you're thinking of wearing these beneath/inside a pair of slippers, be aware that you'll need to have big slippers to match. Your feet in these socks just won't fit inside your usual slippers; you'll need a pair of slippers at least one - ideally two - sizes larger than your usual.There's the outer layer of chunky wool, and inside there's a thick layer of black fleece. They take up a frankly obscene amount of drawer space when not in use.And they're long too - mid-calf length on me, and I'm 6'3" with size 11 feet.You'd think socks of such massive thickness and a good length would keep the old feet pretty warm, huh?Hmmm, not really. I'd give these no more than 2.5 out of 5 for warmness. They actually feel very light on the feet, loose and slightly drafty. Stand on a cold floor in them and you can feel, almost instantly, the cold seeping up into your feet. I don't quite understand how they've managed it, to be honest. It's almost impressive.Even worn beneath my extra-roomy wool slippers, they're still not as warm as some other (far less thick) socks I own.They also lose points for the fact that the non-slip rubber dots on the underside are tiny and don't cover the whole of the foot, so they give surprisingly little grip on wooden floors.And lastly, they're not quite the same colour as the picture shown here on Amazon: the image shows burgundy and light grey socks, but the pair I received were burgundy and dark grey, which to me don't look as good.For the money, there are much warmer - and less bulky - socks out there.

I got these for myself as my old pair were falling to bits internally and becoming uncomfortable to wear so they had to go. They are a good length and nice and cosy [actually quite hot if you also wear slippers as i often do]. i have but one ever so slight gripe with them in that the tops whilst not actually elasticated have become a little saggy or stretched after a couple a few weeks of use. Apart from that they are very good - i pop them on when i get out of my evening shower and into my dressing gown for a couple of hours in front of the TV. certainly on a par with my old pair for both warmth and comfort. great in the winter months of cause.
