Just received this, in a plastic wrapper with 3 spare covers and no instructions, had to look on here to then see it needs to be unscrewed and needs a AAA battery and a tiny phillips screwdriver. The cover is very very low quality with a quite large metal zip, the ball is hard thin plastic with a mechanism in the centre.It works, kind of, quite badly, i have a jack russell and its too big for his mouth and im quite concerned the metal zip with hurt him or damage his teeth. I would highly suggest not buying this, i will be returning.

I brought this for my spaniel (because his nudging-wet-ball-into-hand obsession drives everyone nuts) in the hope of him entertaining himself for a bit.He won't play with it. He won't put it down at all. He is the happiest I have ever seen, trotting around the house with the gyrating ball in his mouth RADIATING joy.Admittedly we've given up on the furry covers which he ripped off in seconds. But the ball itself is now a treasured object.The only time he willingly lets it go is when he accidentally turns the gyro off. In this instance he runs to the nearest human, dumps the ball in their lap and makes it quite clear that we are to turn it on again and immeadiatley give it back.Brilliant ball. English springer spaniel and far more relaxed dog mother reccomend!!

It’s ok but the cloth comes off too easily for the dog and quite flimsy

When I opened it to put in the battery I noticed how fragile the plastic cover looked. One side the screw thread was broken. I gave it to my poodle to play with, the cover lasted about five minutes until he had chewed the metal zip off and shredded the plastic zip itself. Then next came the rubber ring that goes along the outside. Luckily I was on hand to take it away before he swallowed it. Cheap and dangerous and definitely not fit for animals, which is probably why you cannot buy these in pet shops in the UK. DO NOT BUY!

My dog dropped it once out his mouth & it broke. He’s a border terrier, so wasn’t exactly a huge drop. No instructions in the package & not fit for use

I have 2 dogs and they both showed some interest but not massively so. However my dogs ARE on the older side. Might have been better if the ball was softer? Good idea to have several covers to be able to wash them whilst toy is still in use.
