Brilliant game
I haven't owned an f1 game since the ps1/ps2 days and it was really good even back then, I think that was an EA Sports game same as this one. Obviously these games have improved a lot since then, and the graphics on this game are fantastic, the rain is very realistic to the point you can have trouble seeing the cars in front of you, this adds to the excitement of the race. The replays of the race are good to watch. There are quite a few different settings which took me a couple of weeks to get familiar with, for instance, when I started career mode every race was only 5 laps! I wanted a full race of 60 odd laps but it is not in the main settings menu as you would expect, it is in the settings menu just before you practice/ qualify/race. The upgrading of your car has added realism because parts often fail and you have to keep trying until the part works. There are different options for game mode, for instance in career mode you can be a rookie driver joining a team or you can be a driver building your own team, there is also one with a story mode. But overall this is a brilliant game with a lot of realism and excitement as far as being an f1 driver goes. I would recommend it for anyone who likes f1 or racing in general.

The real deal
When deciding whether to get F1 23 or F1 24 I was torn until I read about the glitches in F1 24 as it is still new out. I have F1 21 and wanted a newer game with more up-to-date drivers and tracks and saw this. I was sceptical as it was only £12 and still a popular title. The listing stated French and English but didn't know whether it was the same as the titles available from retailers for £35. It is the real deal. Arrived yesterday and stuck it in the PS5 and waited for the 35GB update to download through the day and when I went to it at 9pm after the children were asleep I was able to play it. Straight in to a race at Bahrain and it was so realistic. So realistic that I binned the car on the first corner and ended up in the barrier 🤦🏼♂️ great game and for £12 it is a must have for F1 fans.

Engaging
Good graphics, good sound. Fun to play - even as a full length Grand Prix weekend. Challenging but not so challenging it makes me want to give up. Using a wheel/pedal set enhances the experience for sure but is not necessary. No issues with bugs etc so far. Only con is that maybe a tutorial would be useful to understand car setup - but each option does have help text.

Delivered earlier than expected
This was bought as a birthday present for my son. It was due to be delivered on release day (16/06/23) which was 2 days after his birthday, however he was delighted when it arrived on 15/06/23, as he couldn’t wait to play on it; with him being an F1 fanatic. The feedback of the game is: Better, more enhanced graphics, more choices for driver view, a little bit more challenging than F122, due to all the other new features, but a fantastic game. Would definitely recommend the seller, due to the ease of ordering and the speedy delivery, plus the great price that was better than anywhere else.

Best sports game out there
This is truly my favourite game on the PS5. The driving is such fun and feels real. Hard to say which is my favourite track but I enjoy racing the British Grand Prix.

Happy.
As described and I enjoy the game. Been playing these each year for ages at 70-90ish Ai with my preferred settings. Last years didn’t do it for me with its insane Ai and how it played. Think that was fixed eventually. Everything is as I hoped with this one. Love the return of Breaking point story. Lots of settings you can adjust assists, accessibility, controls, audio, visuals etc. Usual career and championship modes. Looks and feels great to play with. I’d recommend. 🏁

Good, but no Gran Tourismo
I’ve recently bought a wheel and pedals. I’ve played F1 games in this series before on gaming PCs. This is the first I’ve bought for my PS5. Firstly, as I have GT7 it is an obvious candidate to compare to. Every single thing in GT7 is much much smoother: graphics, load times, menus etc. But this game is good in its own way. Personally I could do without all the team stuff you have to contend with. I can’t find a way to turn it all off and focus on the racing. The interface itself is busy and somewhat annoying. The mini-map borders on useless as so zoomed in you have already hit the corner you wanted to be aware of. And that right there summarises the game. It’s just not polished enough against rivals like GT7, WRC 10, NFS Unbound etc. The graphics are choppy also, which given the spec of a PS5 is known by the developers, unlike a PC, is unacceptable. At sub £20 it’s ok. If I’d paid full launch price I’d be crying with disappointment.
