Works great for gray hair just might have to leave it for a little bit longer than the instructions for it to catch. It’s not so much dark brown, but a deep red. Maybe I need to put it on a little longer but I absolutely love this product and will be buying it again.

The true color on grey hair is AUBURN. This is a RED BROWN. For those who want a COOL or ASH BROWN, be aware that this product has a strong red base and not an ash base. I am a licensed hair dresser, expert colorist and I know about pigment well. Over all the coverage on grey hair is very good. As an experiment, I wanted to try out this product. You CAN reapply the next day for a more intense shade. I have just applied so I do not know how long it wears well. We’ll see.

It works. Just follow the instructions, and you'll receive good results. I chose to lather up my dry hair about 20-30 prior to rinsing. Please wear gloves. It could stain your finger nails. The scent reminded me of a hair salon. Not potent, bearable. I used coconut oil before lathering up (forearm, forehead, face, ears, chin, & with a little on the neck) and after the rinse. I wash my hair daily so the color lasted about a week or so. No problem. Good luck! Peace.
