Great product, but....
Overall, we like the product. We have broken two in 15 years from hard use.Replacement the first time was easy. The second time, not so much. Lamson shipped us the wrong one (too large). Okay.We bought this one. However, it has an overall metal dimension of 4 x 2.5", not the flat part. Too small. (Do I sound like Goldilocks? lol.) The photo does not show accurate proportions of the piece.I thought that we made the sizing error, but am now realizing that this listing (and one of the answered questions) is unclear and the error wasn't fully ours.My photo shows the three sizes. If you look carefully, you can see the crack that develops on this model for us (the center one). The bagged one is the one we received when we ordered this.Of course, it is too late to return it. Meanwhile, the price for this one has risen to $180 (I have one to sell. Guess I'll make a profit, ha ha. Amazon doesn't carry the size we need. No one does. Are the Easy Entry turners with the 2.5" x 4" flat part of the blade still being made?Looks like we will be changing brands. *Sigh.*

well made German, American turner
There was no review to help me decide but the reward outweighed the risk. I got this to use with my Lodge cast iron skillet, & I'm glad I bought it. It's light, flexible, sturdy, & it's edge is angled & beveled. I've been using it for over a week, & I'd certainly recommend it. For the price, you're getting a well made utensil. I'm buying another one to have as a spare but I'm positive that this one will last many years. German metal mated with an American wooden handle. Glad to see something well made in USA again.

Perfect for an 8" cast iron skillet
I really like this turner for my Lodge 8" cast iron skillet. It's very sturdy but still has a hint of flex to the blade. If it wasn't so pricey I would have given 5 stars, but frankly it's not worth the current price.

Love this turner.
Just the right size, right balance of stiffness and flexibility. I would give it 5 stars if the handle was properly finished. The wood is nearly raw and needs a durable finish. Washing (even when I dry immediately) has already lifted the grain. So I will be finishing it myself.

Good Stuff
Good small turner. Perhaps a bit overpriced, but I like to buy made in US... from hometown area even a bigger plus!

LamsonSharp turner
This is a great product! Nicely made. It is what the title says....it's sharp. One of our "go to" kitchen tools.

I like that this turner has an angled end on it ...
I like that this turner has an angled end on it (easy to scrap out my cast iron pans). My only issue with it is the handle: it definitely needs sanding down. I will at some point sand and restain it.

great item
this works great. thin, somewhat flexible, and works very well. My go to turner. On top of that, LamsonSharp declared bankruptcy so I got a 2nd to make sure. No the best finish on the handle, but this is, after all, a turner, not a Mercedes.
