Keyless Entry Fingerprint Smart Door Lock, Zowill DK07 7-in-1 Deadbolt Lock for Front Door, Keypad Door Lock with APP Control, Electronic Touchscreen, Auto Lock, Easy Installation

Received my Zowill DK07 Digital Fingerprint Smart Lock today and after reading the instructions and looking at the videos, install took around 15 minutes and programing was another 10 minutes. I had already had a year old electronic key pad so this install was a direct fitment. There are many videos on install and programming so I will tell you what I like about this product. Once you have the products APP, everything is done through your smart phone. Once you register your product and establish your account, the app takes you through the required steps to complete. The instructions show you how to manually inout the keypad codes with the master codes, but that is not really required as the app does everything. Once your account is up and running, you can perform various items to your custom taste. One thing I really love about this key pad is that it locks automatically after you leave and return from the house. I programmed my lock to lock after 10 seconds. I programed my finger prints with my thumb and index finger and the setup was easy like the facial recognition on your smart phones. Key pad lock worked every time with the fingerprint lock. It is faster than punching in numbers on the keypad. While there are similar products like the DK07 I purchased, this product has the key pad numbers hidden until you touch the pad while others are openly visible. Another great feature is the mini IC cards that you just swipe on the pad to open or close the door and of course you can lock/unlock the door with the DD Lock app from your smart phone. I will probably use the fingerprint mode to open/lock door most of the time since it is more faster.But it is nice to also have two keys to insert the keypad and open/lock doors should battery die out maybe after a long vacation. Great product overall.

This is my 4th attempt at installing an internet-capable front door deadbolt.I can tell you from experience every lock company that tells you that you can "control" your lock from the internet is LYING to you. Sure, all of them have some amount of connection to an "app" or even the internet - but NONE of them let you CONTROL the lock - as you would imagine "controlling" locks from the web. Some locks have an app that let you generate a random keys to share with other users via app - and they advertise as "controlled over the internet." Some have apps that yes, let you LOCK and UNLOCK your phone - but only if you're standing within 2 feet of the lock - again, yes, that is "app controlled" - but is that what you think of when you want an INTERNET CONTROLLED lock????? Other locks will let you control them via the internet - but you have to purchase a second "gateway" piece that can run anywhere from free to $400.... not to mention you have to have APPLE SMART TV, APPLE SMART HOME, ALEXA or GOOGLE HOME already purchased and set-up. This little fact is almost never directly addressed in the lock's advertisement! Be aware.In this case, the lock is controllable (LOCK/UNLOCK) from an app - again ONLY if you're within a couple feet of it. Also, if you set-up the "gateway" and attach it to your ALEXA/GOOGLE HOME/APPLE TV etc - you can INTERACT with - but not CONTROL the lock. It's the STUPIDEST thing - you can LOCK your door from anywhere - but you can't UNLOCK it from anywhere - yes the UNLOCK capability is purposefully left out. Try finding that fact mentioned anywhere on the advertisement!!!!!!!!I installed this lock and it lasted almost exactly 60 days before it stopped working. The electronic motor just doesn't have the umpf to deploy the deadbolt anymore. What's worse is that for a couple weeks, it sounded like the lock was functioning.... I'd leave home and scan my finger and the motor would activate making sounds like it was locking my door. In realty, it didn't lock the door and I was startled to find my front door completely unlocked when I returned home. What a piece of crap!!!!!!

We've had this lock installed for over a month now and everything is working perfectly. I installed it using the holes drilled for our previous deadbolt, so the the installation was easy. I like the position of the fingerprint sensor and have had no problem using it to unlock the deadbolt. I recommend registering your most used finger(s) twice to enhance reliability. The ICC cards and code entry also work well.I highly recommend taking the physical key with you or having it hidden outside in case the electronics fail at some point or you use up your 3 fingerprint tries.
