Ikko Oval Bassinet Pad- Small

I built an oak bassinet for my granddaughter and while designing it, I researched the commercial pads in use to ensure I that the dimensions of my design were compatible with the pads and mattress products used in commercial bassinets. I'm a carpenter, not a seamstress so making a pad was outside my skill set. Since the bassinet was intended to serve more than one child, I wanted to have a durable, and replaceable pad. I purchased this pad and found it to be a reasonable price, well made and a good complement to an "heirloom bassinet" that has been deployed successfully and is fully approved by my daughter, a very picky customer!

I bought this mattress for my new baby who is using a used bassinette borrowed from her aunt. The bassinette was used by her 3 cousins and her older sister and i found that the support on the bottom was sagging toward the middle. The thin mattress that was on the bottom wasn't providing much support anymore and my baby girl seemed to be uncomfortable sleeping in the bassinette now. After putting this mattress on last night, she slept soundly through the night like she did when she was first born. I wish I had gotten this for my older daughter when she started to be uncomfortable in the bassinette and she may not have ended up sleeping in our bed with us!

I was so tired of using the thin bassinet pad that came with our sons bassinet so I searched all over amazon and found this and it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. The previous pad moved all over with every move our son made and this was the perfect thickness and felt pretty comfortable. I think there was even a major improvement in our babies sleeping habits. He seemed so comfortable and I had some major piece of mind. All of my bassinets will have one of these mattresses.

This is the right size for my Fisher Price Rock N' Play Portable Bassinet. The top measurements are very accurate: 29.25" x 14.50". depth is 1.75". Still very decent depth. It's made in USA with safe plastic. One star off is for comfort. Mattress is firm and the sponge inside is crunchy coarse.

I got this pad to add to the very thin pad that came with the bassinet. I am very happy with the thickness of this pad it was just what I was looking for and hopefully will make baby more comfortable! It also arrived 5 days earlier than expected which was also a plus.

I bought a used bassinet (Dream On Me 2-in-1 Bassinet to Cradle, Measures 18.3"W x 47"H x 35.5"D ) and the pad that came with, though thin, was ok when the baby was 7lbs. Once the bay started to gain weight you could see an indentation on the pad. My baby would cry each time I put him to sleep on the bassinet. He was ok if I put him on the crib. I purchased this and it came very quickly (Amazon Prime). My baby sleeps fine now, no indentation. It is thicker than the thin pads most bassinets come with. It is a bout an inch and a half shorter than the bassinet, but that is fine with me. Much better than the original bassinet pad. This is one of the best baby purchases I've made; a little pricey but totally worth it.[...]

I ordered this bassinet pad because it is thicker and more firm than the pad that usually comes with the bassinet. I like it and definitely recommend it since most bassinets come with a cheaper and very thin pad. Just make sure you get the right measurements.

I don't understand why people are upset that the label doesn't say "Therapedic", it is a "Cub Club" pad BY Therapedic. Like how Stearns & Foster is from the same company as Sealy. Just because Stearns & Foster mattresses don't say Sealy on them doesn't mean they aren't related.This is a fantastic bassinet pad. It fits the The First Years Carry Me Near 5 In 1 Bassinet, Ivory perfectly. I added a waterproof padded cover then a nice sheet and it's perfect for my new son. It's thick, firm, and just the right size.There's really not much else to say about it. I'll update after he's used it for several months.
