How can you take a book about something as controversial and emotionally inciting as race and ethnicity and sociology in general, and turn that empassioned subject into a bedtime story? Give it to the authors of this book. I'll tell you what else really takes me off about this book is that a classmate found the fifth edition of this very same book, and other than the pictures it's virtually identical word for word - and there was an edition released between the two! I bought this as a requirement for school. It is an easy read for text book. It was easier to get through.
