I do not have hemorrhoids but I have another issue which causes excruciating pain and it is a result of extreme radiation damage caused by treatment for cancer. Any of you that have been there know exactly what I'm talking about so I need not expound 😉. It really is best that I don't anyway because my anger is absolutely seething over the damage caused.Prior to finding this product I went through prescription products and other OTC products and they all sucked!NONE provided relief and, if anything, they actually made the issue far greater because they are usually petrolatum based, not water based, and that causes excruciating irritation to already damaged parts.I found this Curist product a very long time ago online and ordered one tube just to try it out. I have gone through about two dozen tubes since (maybe even more). I have alternated between ordering from Amazon and directly from the manufacturer as per availability. It's a bit more expensive directly from the manufacturer so my usual go to is Amazon for this particular product when it is readily available. I recently put it on autoship in order to preserve the pricing.As many of the reviews state, it will burn like hell at first but that is quite temporary and goes away within mere seconds providing extreme relief. It is impossible to find one that is not going to burn at first and this product is the VERY LEAST of that issue with the VERY GREATEST of relief. Just be aware that it will burn intensively at first but the relief comes within scant seconds and the burn does not return.It is odorless and non-greasy and does not have a sticky slimy residue so it is very easy to use and does not cause the discomfort that prescription products and other OTC products do. I reiterate that it is VERY important that a product of this nature be water soluble as petrolatum and elsewise wax or oil-based products cause excruciating irritation over the course of time thus making the initial irritation FAR GREATER.The tubes are a generous size and are easy to dispense from, unlike others that come in those ridiculous foil tubes (a major peeve of mine are those ridiculous foil tubes! 😡). I do wish Curist offered a purse size one as well because it's somewhat (ok, VERY) inconvenient to carry a large tube around like this.In summary, I tried quite a few different brands including prescription and OTC and NONE of them were as pleasant to use nor anywhere near as effective as this Curist product.

It may say for hemorrhoids but it’s a hard to find 5% lidocaine cream. Usually you can only get 4%. I use this for frozen shoulder and lower back pain. Works great, blends into skin just fine. No smell!

My client needed some kind of pain relief for her bottom, as she is wheelchair bound and sits alot. This cream works wonders, and provided near immediate relief for several hours. She has a better quality of life because of this product. Overall satisfied with this purchase, good quailty, and value. 10/10 would purchase again.

It's pricey and blue emulated works better on my knees.
