A Fitting end to this trilogy of books…
A fitting end to the trilogy of books that lays the groundwork for the Dune Saga to begin! I thoroughly loved it.

Best of the House Series, Strong Dune book, Amazing Read
Having read many of the Kevin J Anderson and Herbert Dune series of books... Dune: House Corrino is by far my favorite. I owned this when it came out in hard cover years ago, and recently got it again for my Kindle. This book is probably the best of the newer Dune Series. For the most part, there are a lot of questions left open in general about House Corinno, and this book does a good job at opening the Imperial House and Golden Lion Throne. I'm a huge fan of the writing, and the overall story is fantastic. You have several story arcs going on in this book.. from House Atredies' assisting (or attempting to) in the freedom of Ix, to how Paul Atredies comes about... or the Emperor's plan to [try and] replace the spice melange. While this is the third in the 'House' series of Dune Books, I highly recommend this one as a good place to start or even as a 'stand alone' option if you're looking for a one-off book to read.

The web tightens
For fans of the greatest SF saga of all time, this precursor tale sets the table and answers questions one may have as he or she reads the classic, Dune. Chronologically, there are still two volumes to go before one gets to Dune and I look forward to reading them before I delve once again into Dune.
