Silverline Shed & Fence Brush 125mm (719775)

Amazon delivery person rang door bell and left the item on front door mat. Opened the door within 25 seconds of the door bell being rung. Wanted to check the quality of the item ordered on delivery. On opening the delivered package immediately, found the hand brush to be defective, not fit quality for sale. The brush for painting wood preservative has glue/raisin sticking the bristles at the center of the paint brush. Area of glue/raisin is approx. 1 square centimeter at the center of the brush. The glue/raisin is so hard/stiff that it is not even possible to cut out using scissors. Also the glue/raisin is stuck over 1 inch deep into the bristles at the center of the paint brush. This defect renders this purchase useless and unfit for purpose. Very disappointed with Amazon and Amazon trader for waste of my time and cost in the delay. Better simply to have purchased the item from a local or nationwide quality supplier in the UK. Silverline 719775 Shed, Fence & Decking Brush 125mm (5")

Not worth the plastic it's made from, total waste of money! Fell apart after 5 minutes, I bought three of these and they all done the same thing. Not worth forever guarantee, contacted them, they told me to return to Amazon. Ha! Who would want to send paint soaked brushes through the post?? Wouldn't recommend to anyone! Ended up using normal paint brushes and finished the job perfectly + normal brushes were easier to use!!

Awful. Cheap and nasty and barely lasted painting half a deck (first coat !). The base of the handle has a single screw holding a piece of wood the bristles attached to, Screw comes loose. If you tighten is forces the handle base into the metal surround. Vicious circle. The more if loosens the more you tighten the more it pushes the surround out. So it just becomes a big floppy mess.

On first use the brush was excellent for repainting my fence panels, after coating 7 panels twice the bristle part of the brush fell off the handle body, both parts are held together with one screw which you can see if you remove the handle. I've put in a larger screw but I am very disappointed with the brush quality.

Good size and thickness.Only used it with shed/fence paint.The handle has already broken off and the bristles section come off.Had the screw the bristles bit back in place and bodge the handle to be able to finish the painting.Glad it only cost a couple of quid.!!

Felt very cheap, plastically and hollow. The brush malfunctioned within five minutes - namely the metal mounting came loose from the brush elements. I tried tightening up the screw within but the brush element snapped off after starting again. Went straight in the bin. AVOID AVOID AVOID this product.

Nice big brush for painting larger areas. Although a lit of loose hair fell out randomly. It ended up being too big for my chosen paint project but still a decent dress for applying wallpaper paste or painting fences.

The head broke off within 5 mins of starting to paint my fence (very small screw holds it on). The short bristles are also unsuitable for painting fencing as they fail to get into the nooks and crannies. Do not buy.
