Easy to use
I have purchased 4 boxes in the past for my larger afghans. This product had all the items you need to block a knitted or crocheted piece. Love them.

Lines match up
I love that the lines match up even when you put them all in 1 row. You do have to turn the blocks as you go to keep the lines lining up because it is ment to form a square. I wish it had a carrying case to store in but the box will have to do for now. Overall I’m very satisfied with these!

Best thing I didn’t know I needed!
I’ve been crocheting for years and have avoiding blocking. But a current project didn’t allow that. I ordered this set and it has been a total game changer for my crochet. Some of the negative reviews I read were older, so I don’t know if the product has changed, but here is my experience:The 9 pieces fit together perfectly and the lines all line up.The 9 pieces are numbered, and in order create a perfect 3x3 grid.Even out of order, placed in the same direction as the other piece, you will get straight lines. The only negative I have is that it is advertised as including 150 t-pins, and after using it and thinking it did not look at all like 150, I counted. There were only 97. But, that was easily remedied, and even at 97 I didn’t use all of them at once.

Not connectable if you buy more than one set
Great blocking mats if you only need one set and do not plan on connecting with a second set. I own two sets of the same brand because I needed to block a large poncho. I was hoping since I bought the same brand that they would connect into one large set of blocking mats; however, this was not the case. I ended up holding them together with a few hair clips to block my poncho, the the lines don’t even match up when you do that. I plan on keeping this because it will be perfect for smaller projects, just be aware that you cannot easily connect them if you buy more than one set.

I use these more than more expensive mats, and get 2 boxes
I understand that some people are upset with the thickness, but these are just as thick as my Knitter’s Pride mats. I love the grid and the fact that the colors don’t distract from the blocking. I should add that my awful blocking skills should not count against these mats. They have actually helped me get better. I also saw a review that was frustrated with 2 boxes. You can use 2 boxes together, you just need to pay attention to the numbers; see photo 3 for how it works.

Easy to Use and Clean
These blocking mats are very easy to put together. I like that you can make the mat small or large depending on the size project you're blocking. I've used them for small-to-medium knitted or crocheted projects, and for starching and blocking thread crochet projects. It is easy to clean the starch off after use. For large throws and afghans, you would need additional mat blocks. Compact storage in the original box.Bonus use: You can use the blocks to make a jigsaw puzzle mat! Would definitely buy again.

Snap together and go!
Quick to assemble and place the item on to pin for blocking. Easy to use and works great. Sturdy enough for my use, but if you are blocking something that requires a lot of pulling, I recommend ordering a thicker mat set. For my uses though, it is perfect!!

I bought it twice
I bought 1 set last year to use to block a very long shawl. I was very happy with it and how it works but realized I probably would be even happier if I had more of the "squares" because, with shawls especially, there just are not enough of them. I had to supplement with folded towels. So, nearing the end of another knitting project, I ordered a second set so I will have enough. Easy to use, easy to store. So happy I bought it twice.
