Is there hole punch included with this box?

Yes, mine came with a hole punch, a song melody and 3 meter of blank paper for you to create your own songs on.

Is the mechanical crank screwed inside the box? and does the crank take issues with the thicker strips purchasable from amazon, ebay etc?

I bought the one that doesn’t come in a box so I can’t answer the first question but to join the loop I had to use parcel tape (the thinnest tape I could find) as it wouldn’t tolerate anything thicker. So I imagine that it wouldn’t be ok with any strips much thicker than what it comes with. Hope this helps 😊
